Back to protein shakes for a few days

WOuld love to talk to someone who had very slow weight loss, but is actually achieving there goal. I am soo discouraged, and feel like I will never get there

So for 3 weeks now Ive only dropped 2 pounds. Getting frustrated. SHould I go back to liquid diet for a little while to jumpstart things?

Whay am I stalling so early in this process. Only 3 weeks out, and i keep bouncing between the same 3 pounds. UGhhh! HELP

Started at 289 lbs., On surgery day was 274 lbs., 1 week out from surgery down to 264 lbs....YAY!!

OMG!!!! 2 days!

Surgery is in 4 days!!! OMG. so nervous

Ughh, ran into another road block! My surgeon is going back to school, and will not be able to perform my surgery on Nov. 3. I have already completed my pre-op exam which will expire Nov. 11. I told them I have to have surgery by then. They are looking into changing my surgeon. I should know something by the end of the day...FRUSTRATING!!!

18 Days unitl Surgery!!! Very excited, but also nervous and scared.

SO...Nov. 3 has been confirmed. I will be sleeved, in less than 30 days!!!

Hey hun. Things are going slow for me. Stressed over losing this 10 lbs before surgery. So where are you in this whole process?

Continued---I called my insurance co. myself and found out that I was approved. Im sure I annoy the crap out of my medical coordinator, but staying on top of her has been the only thing that seems to speed up this process. I have the 'tentative' date of Nov. 3, but I was told that cant be confirmed as a firm date until about 2 weeks prior. Ughh! Hope this process goes much smoother for you

Awesome! I went to a Support Group with Dr. Coughlin. She is awesome! Have you gone to any support groups, they were suprisingly helpful. I really enjoyed it. Yea this has been such a frustrating process. I wish everyone working with us through this process, knew the anxiety we have. Hey girl. Who did you see for your Psych eval? I have a "tentative" date for Nov. 3. Not too far away, but I was hoping to have it much sooner. I was reading your post about surgery around the holidays. I was hoping not to have it so close to Thanksgiving, but I am just thankful I am having this done.

STRESSED!!! Nov. 3rd is my "tentative" date. I wont have a firm date until 2 weeks prior. I need to apply for short term disabilty for work, and I need to schedule appt. with PCP for pre-op approval, but cant schedule these til' i have a firm date. I am sooo tired of waiting!

6 lbs down. Started this great protein shake VSGandMe2011 (DisneyMomma) recommended. I am no longer doubtful. I feel great, very motivated. I know I will lose this weight!!!
