  1. I had my surgery this past Mon., 2/7. Was feeling so good until the morphine left my body. Was keeping hydrated until 8:30 this morning when I started Phase 2 and drank a 20g protein shake. It was 4 oz and I probably consumed it too quickly. I am sure it was the dumping syndrome because it perfectly describes what I was feeling. I was in so much pain that I wanted to die. Right up there with giving birth with no anesthesia and my kidney stone. I do not want to try protein powder ever again and am not sure if I ever want to eat again!!!
