home from hospital taking things easy, lots of soreness and very tight diaphragm so i1 hurts to take deep breaths.Finding that I have absolutely no hunger and eating and drinking almost seems like a chore.

just thought I would post a status update on my sleeve surgery. everything went pretty good. I should be going home tomorrow, I'm on full liquids now chicken rice soup was delicious, so was hot cocoa, oddly the chocolate pudding did not taste too appealing, heaven forbid I end up not liking chocolate anymore.Have pain in incision sites, doctor knicked my liver, but said it was not uncommon. Most pain is gas and incisions. I'm glad he didn't have to switch to open, he said I am doing super g...

Tminus 28 hours and counting till my gastric sleeve surgery. Its a bit surreal plus a lot of freaking out then back to surreal again lol wish me luck.

So glad Supreme Court Upheld Obama's Healthcare plan : Without it I couldn't have insurance (pre-existing conditions) - I think every American should have access to health insurance if they can pay the premium.. My other option? Go to ER for colds, coughs, etc - and never pay the bill - instead I'll just charge it off to all the poor saps who do pay their health insurance bill and be a free-loader... seriously, though I don't mind paying my $170/month for the state-run High Risk Insurance Poo...

Meandering thru day 4 of my liquid diet... Added a un-planned progresso-light chicken dumpling soup last night - but don't think it did too much damage. So far I've lost 2 pounds since starting. Got a long way to go! 31 more days till my Sleeve Surgery.

On day 2 of High Protein - Low Carb - 800-1000 cal - liquid diet. Not as hard as I thought it would be.. Need to go 30 more days though..

Ok, just got in from seeing Hunger Games, and just gotta say wow. It was a tearjrrker in the first 10 minutes, read. The books, but seeing the reaping it was intense the wrenching feeling in my gut. They left out some things that seemed pretty important in the books, hope they can pull the rest of the series together without the missing fragments, like where she got the mockingjay. This was best film since a Return of the King. Very good surprise having woody harrelson as heymitch.
