  1. I haven't gotten my band yet but I can sympathize with you on the hives. I had hives every day for years. I took Dimetap Extentabs at the time(30 someodd years ago) for relief and also took baths in vinegar to help with the itching. Doesn't smell too nice but works pretty well. I would be surprised if the band was the cause of the hives but our bodies are strange so you never know for sure. They never did find out why I had them so much and I guess I finally outgrew them. Sorry you are having so much trouble.
