  1. I'm a Newbie to the Group.. 4 Days Post - Op Surgery I wanted to thank everyone for being so gracious with their wealth of knowledge and it's amazing how I've been able to read something that has been beneficial to me,regardless of the topic. I am a single woman with no children and when my Mom found out about my surgery she came to support me for the first 2 weeks post surgery...Here's my question..how many people had someone to help them during this period and did it help with your recovery or are you one of those people that wanted to be left alone to figure it out on your own. My only concern at this point is the lack of a bowel movement since the day prior to surgery and my difficulty with getting the amount of Protein and fluids in daily.. Thanks in advance for any advice that is given. DallasSmile
