  1. First follow-up appointment was today. I'm down 28 pounds since beginning the pre-op program about three and a half weeks ago. Still on basically clear liquids. Will start full liquids on Monday. Hooray!
  2. New to the site. Here's my story. I got a Lap-Band in 2007. I lost 100 pounds, mostly so that I could have both knees replaced. After that surgery was complete, I started gaining weight in spite of the band. Finally, this summer, my surgeon said, "I don't think the band is working for you." Good thought! So, after some careful study and consideration, I had my VSG last Monday. I'm feeling pretty good. My only pain is on my left side. It gets me pretty well once in a while, but other than that all is well. And thus begins a new journey.
  3. New heavyweight here. Lapband in 2007 at 385 pounds. Lost 100. Regained about 60. Sleeve surgery last Monday, August 30. Just saying hello at this point.
