  1. Thanks for all the advice and encouragement. I am leaning more to the sleeve now. I do not like the idea of throwing up. I had radiation for my Thyroid in 98 did not start any meds until 2003 with 112 MCG dosage. been lucky this has not changed hopefully will hear something soon from PCP and the referal dept.:001_cool:
  2. Hello everyone, Just getting started looking into WLS. From everything that I have looked at I have come to the conclusion of either the Lapband or Vertical Sleeve would be the best for me. I do have a thyrod condition and take medicine for it on a daily basis. I have tried other programs with some success. I do have BCBSIL-HMO, so I have to wait on the doctor and the referal process. Does anyone else have a thyroid condition and what type of success are you having????
