  1. Brand new here, and just "started" my journey today. I am working in tandem with my insurance provider at each step. I am so nervous about what to tell work as well. Also, my sister-in-law had lap-band and she says it did not work for her, in fact she wants it removed and it trying to convince me to stop my journey. I am 35 and have been overweight my entire life. My weight rules my life, everything I do I somehow have to think about my weight. I work in sales and I really feel people prefer to work with thinner women, not overweight women. I am not sure if they think I am lazy or what. I just want to lose this weight and make myself happy, I just do not feel my family will give me the support I really need.:001_tongue:
