First day of blogging, Day 9 post-op

I am 10 days post op and feel the same way. One minute I think I made a bad decision then the next I feel like the light is brighter than ever in the future. Mixed emotions are hard to control. I didn't know about the 20 staples, the gas and the choking feeling I get everytime I eat. this part really sucks. I feel like my throat is closing up to reject anything I want or need to eat. Water ....Water.... gives me gas. What is that all about? I will pray that we both just stay strong and make it past the babies steps of this process.

    TWO weeks post-op

I have been approved for the sleeve set for after the new year. I need to know more about the protein shakes. What about baby food with a lil sea salt and black pepper? How hard is the pre op diet? I've been reading the comments and ppl are losing weight fast. Didn anyone which the story on Nightline Oct. 25, 2010? How the sleeve the the best choice of all the operations. The doctor in the south is the best around.

    Starting over

I just got the news this week that the process is approved for me to have the surgery. I've done the weight check -ins for 5 of the 6 monthes. My insurance have given the approval for the head Doctor appointment, which i had on this past Friday. Know I have to do the meal plan counciling. I was 290 then 260 then 230 and then 195. Now I'm 224 and sick of diets. The Weight watchers was the best which has kept me from going back to 290. At 5'1'' I need to be 160 or less and stay at that weight.
