  1. Hello, I'm a new member, and I'm considering having the LAP Band surgery at some point. Basically, right now I'm just learning a lot about what it is, how it changes the body, long-term affects, feelings of patients post-op, etc. I'm currently a college student getting my bachelor's degree, so no insurance right now. However, after college I am hoping that I will be able to have the surgery done with the aid of insurance. Anyway, anyone that would like to talk to me is appreciated, and I hope everyone has a great day! Dannielle
