  1. I was banded on December 11, and have lost 31 lbs. My friend was done the week prior to mine, and she has lost 70. I agree with whoever said we are all different. I know my loss is slower because I've slipped into some of my old patterns of a bite here and there of things that are too sugary. You have to exercise, and the weight loss for some goes faster. Best wishes!
  2. It only took me from August when I went to the seminar until December 11, 2007 for surgery. However, I was a self pay and there were no complications. I understand it can be a longer process with insurance, or if your insurance requires you to try a six month weight loss program first. Best wishes, Kim
