  1. It's been a week since I got surgery done.. for some reason I decided to get on my scale only to find out that I've lost a measly five pounds. That's all! FIVE POUNDS... I feel so discouraged and disappointed.. I know it's different for everyone, but I thought maybe I'd be one of those people who gets to say "wow, I lost 10-15 pounds the first week!". Did this happen to anyone else?? and When will I really start to see/notice the weight come off???? Thanks in advance! Amy
  2. Hi, I don't have my last appointment with my surgeon 'till the first week of July, which is when ( I assume) he will advise me to follow his pre-op diet. I want to start now though, but I'm not sure exactly what I should be eating, and how much. I know that I should be drinking some Protein shakes, but what else?? Or is that all?? lol Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Amy
  3. I'm planning on having my surgery in July, I'm hoping it's early in July because the fall semester of college starts on August 25th and then I start my work study on September 1st... So I know this is all based on the specific person, but my question is: How long will it be I will feel "okay" enough to go to class/work comfortably? How long did it take you???
