  1. Sweet, 150lbs. I can't wait to see that myself.:001_wub:
  2. 50 lbs! That's awesome. I am so looking forward to hitting that mark. Gratz, you deserve it.
  3. Woo Hoo, that's so awesome. Best of luck losing the rest.
  4. I used to be addicted to the scale, which meant it dictated how I felt. It was horrible. It's really hard, but if you can put the scale away and only weigh yourself once a week, you will see better results and not be on such an emotional roller coaster from day to day. Trust that if you are doing the right things that you will lose.
  5. WTG Angie. Have a safe and happy 4th!
  6. Woo Hoo, gratz. So glad to hear all went well. Take care and keep us posted when you can.
  7. I personally can't relate, but we have several members who had revisions from band to sleeve due to similar problems. Best of luck with what you decide to do, keep us posted.
  8. Hope everything went well and you are great. Keep us posted.
  9. Dang Christie, you are so rockin that sleeve. WTG, keep up the good work.
  10. Welcome and gratz on your decision to get healthy. Best of luck to you.
  11. Sounds like you had a really good experience. Glad to hear everything went so well. Best of luck, keep us posted.
  12. Actually I hadn't started a journal, but I did today. Thanks for the idea Mini.
  13. I'm glad things are better for you and the hubby, that's great. Did you lose all that weight in 5 weeks? That's seriously amazing. WTG.
  14. My grandkids got dropped off early this morning. I still had my nightshirt on and was fixing them breakfast, when my 6 yr old granddaughter said, "Nana, your legs are getting skinny". I thought wow, if a 6 yr old would notice that's pretty good. I was on cloud nine. Of course it was short lived. Later we went swimming and when we were done and got back in the house, I took off her bathing suit, wrapped a towel around her and tucked it in. Then I took off my suit, wrapped a towel around me (as far as it would go), when she looked up and said "no towels big enough huh?! God love her, LOL.
  15. Welcome Aimee. I don't have the answers you are looking for, but I know someone else will. I just wanted to say best of luck on your journey. :lol0:

That is amazing. Gratz on the great success.
  17. I'm glad you are going to go for counseling. That can really help you pinpoint where the issues are. You have been through a lot. Surgery is a major thing for the body to recover from. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you. Hang in there and let us know how it goes.
  18. YAY. Huge gratz. You have done really well. It must feel great to get those compliments. Keep up the good work.
  19. I had the boots as well. When I wasn't walking, they would put them on my feet and turn on the compression pump or whatever it is. I didn't have to wear the stockings.
  20. Best of luck Carole. We'll be waiting for you to return.
  21. WOW, I don't know if I would be handling this as well as you. I am so sorry this happened. I can only imagine the frustration. I hope you keep moving forward and not let this set you back anymore than it already has. Best of luck. Don't give up and keep us posted. ((((HUGS))))
