  1. Hi, the same thing happened to me. It just sropped at around seven weeks and the only thing that I did was take a neium at night too. Good luck, I know that it is annoying!
  2. Hi Anna..How have you been doing? I have not been on here for awhile, trying to get the deli up and running. Are you feeling better? y only problem is the stalls, I only lost about 3 pounds in the last month. It is frustrating but I am hoping it stops soon. Have you had any problems with stalls?

  3. Foxy lady!!!! Your face is so thin. How exciting. Was just wondering how you've been. Hope things continue to go well for you on this crazy adventure.

  4. I am so glad that the vomiting has stopped for you! It is the worst. How are you adjusting to everything else? The weight looks like it is just falling off of you! How exciting is this?????

  5. Hi Anna,

How have you been doing? Your weight loss is awesome! We are on week 4 now and looks like neither one of us has hit that palteau(spelling, argh). I hope that we somehow get to miss it. Thanks for the comments on the board, you are always so sweet. My protein illness vanished as mysterously as it appeared. I have no clue what caused it but I am so relieved that it is gone! I went back on clears for 2 days so maybe that helped. How is eating solid foods going for you? I have not been able to eat it yet but I am going to try chicken salad tonight. Keep up the goos work!

    I am so mad

Hi Carla, I would have been so angry too! That is the rudest thing I have heard about a dr. saying. He does not sound like a very good dr. to me. The pain for me was about a 4 the first 24 hours, with 1 hour of maybe an 8 for gas pains. After 24 hours it was a 1-2, mostly soreness.
  7. I decided to tell everyone, much easier for me. So far all of my friends have been supportive. The only mean things being said to me are from my mom and my oldest daughter has made a few comments. My whole family is thin so I thought that they would be more supportive. My favorite one so far is when my mom made the comment last week that I should have been on my post diet all along and why could'nt have done this without surgery. My only comeback was I guess you raised a failure. Not funny or snappy but it mader her stop and hopefully think before she makes anymore comments.
  8. We missed eachother by a day Frankie!
  9. Thanks everyone for your quick responces! I do not have a gallbladder anymore, had it removed years ago. I have tried mixing the unjury unflavored protein with applesauce and I still got sick. It is so strang because I still like the taste of it. The only food that I can tolerate is applesauce, cottage cheese and eggs. I would ask about moving to solids but I don't think I am ready for them yet. I am hoping by Friday that I might be. I am hoping that this whole thing will pass. I tried milk earlier and it did not make me sick but I have discovered that I do not like the taste of it anymore. (weird) I so appreciate you all taking the time to answer, this is such a nice group of people on here.
  10. I'm sorry to hear you are throwing up. Me too. I am still having a difficult time knowing how fast I can do things, especially water. I end up sliming on that and throwing up a few times per week. We'll get it. Its just tricky to go from someone who didn't pay much attention when she ate to someone who has to pay GREAT attention or get really sick. I'm glad you are enjoying your losses though.

  11. Hi Anna,

Things are going ok for me, sick of throwing-up though. Loving the weightloss..I see that you have lost ALOT of weight. Way to GO!!!

  12. I have been on protein shakes since 1 week post-op and have had no problems with them. I am now 3 1/2 weeks out and can not drink them anymore. It started about a week ago, everytime I would drink one I would feel sick for an hour or so. Now everytime I try and drink one I throw-up. I have tried different kinds and at different temps. but nothing helps. Has anyone else had this happen? Does it go away? This is my main source of protein because I am still at the mushie stage.
  13. Im fine. I scheduled my surgery for august 1st so I am trying to wait patiently for that day to arrive. In the meanwhile, I'm trying to lose a few pounds.

  14. Hey Theresa,

I just wondered how things have been for you. Hope you are feeling well and having some good success!

    VSG and Hypothyroid

I had the same worries but I am loosing pretty quickly. I am only a little over 3 weeks but so far so good. I had read on here that the sleeve could maybe reverse it but my Dr. told that it would not, I will always have it. Like you, I gained weight when I started my medicine and had almost given up hope before I discovered this surgery. It does work. Good Luck!
