    6 weeks post/Need Help

I don't kno if you have a Sam's Wholesale anywhere near but they have the grilled chicken breasts you microwave and blackened salmon, talapia and swiss chicken burgers that can be microwaved, add in a small side of veggie and your good. Don;t beat yourself up over the nuggets, we've been caught somewehre and had to make a food choice, you did the best you could. The taco doesen't strike me as being bad. The weight loss has slowed way down for me too, have lost only 9 lbs in last 2 months. You are gonna be fine, you can do this!!

    Exhausted!

i was told we might not asorb the b12 like we did presurgery therefore the injection was recommended but if your levels are all ok then the protein might need to be higher.Take care.:laugh0:

    looking for a snack

I like the bbq pork rinds, and the butter toffee almonds are delish. They also have chocolate mint now. Just measure out a serving so you don't keep going back and overeat them!
  10. The sleeve was a minor bump compared to 2 c-sections and open hysterectomy, you dont have that "my guts are falling out" feeling. I was gro shopping by the 4th day, driving and cooking meals. It's not bad-promise!
  11. Hang in there, try not to get too discouraged, it does work if you shake things up alittle, like Maddie said, it works for me everytime. You are really doing great and the weight will come off when you're body is ready to let it go.

  17. Hi, Linda-Welcome to the forum. I wish I had journaled everything from the day of surgery. It has been incredible and I believe I would have enjoyed looking back as a way to keep motivated. Ididn't have to have a nut before or after and I think it would have helped. I have zero regrets, zero complications so far, Good luck!
  18. I agree, file a lawsuit or compaint if that brings her closure but "put on your big girl panies and deal with it" because it is what it is. Live life and enjoy your family. This is just my opinion. Haing said that-Good Luck and I hope you find inner peace.

    April 2010 Sleevers!

Wow! we all seem to be losing about the same, mine has slowed way down too but I'm ok with that. I finally quit the pork rinds and that helped. I have kept up all my protein and vitamins so I don't understand the hair loss BUT love the new shorter cut. My stylist says I'm trendy...lol guess thats a nsv coz I've never been trendy before. Breezy you motivate me to exercise so think I'll order zumba, sick of the treadmill.
  20. Anythin you can mush with a fork was how my Dr. explained it :001_tongue:

    April 2010 Sleevers!

Are the April sleevers still around, just wondering how ya'll are doing? We have to keep up with each other I'm down 59 lbs, gone from size 18 jeans to size 12, tops were 2x now lg. Hair loss is a issue but I got it all cut off and hoping it slows down soon. Are ya'll losing hair alot? Can't wait to hear from ya'll.
  22. Push the protein in, your body needs it if you are that active but make it soft, try some baked or grilled- fish or salmon .

    Lupus anyone?

No, but I have RA and I have done wonderful with the surgery.I healed slower, still have bruising at 4 1/2 months out. I was home the day after surgery, hope this makes you feel better!
  25. I am 4 months out and started losing hair a month ago too, I just went yesterday and got it bobbed off about 4 inches, now trying to comb it to cover thin spots, hope it stops after 3 months like Tiffy said.. if not I will be buying a wig.
