  1. Hi gang, long time no see lol! Just a minute of your time!....I want to share my story with you! I have been sleeved on april 9 2010....5 months ago! i am now 108 pounds down...at 176 pounds! I am so happy of my decision! I am more active and healthier than ever And you know what?....my sex-appeal is back lol. The only bad thing about that....I spend half of my paycheck for buying new clothes hihihi ! That's very bad....ask my boyfriend lol! For those who didn't know that I am a frenchie....sorry fot the mistakes lol! I hope you will undersrand what I am saying!
  2. :confused1:hi Dr Jossart.... How do you do? I hope you hare feeling good! I have a little question for you.... I read a lot on websites searching for long term results for the sleeve. I had a sleeve on april 9 2010 and I am 108 pounds down, I think is good..... But, I really wonder about pouch dlatation. Many websites say that the sleeve is innefficient after 1 year because of the pouch dilatation. Is it always like that? Is it true that my stomach will expand, slowly for sure, in the future? After 5 months, I see that I can eat a little more (but always smaller than 60 grms of food) but is true that is more than first weeks post-op. I love my sleeve for now but I am really concern about the future..... PS: excuse me for the mistakes....i am french lol!!!!! Thank you for your time? Chantale
  3. :svengo:Am I doing well? I have been sleeve on april 9...I have already 85 pounds losed...The problem? I am always tired, I am losing my hairs and I can't eat more than 400 cals a day since I had my surgery. If I upgrade my cals...I gane weigt! Is that normal??? For now, I cannot training, it is difficult to pass through my day at job and my energy is so terrible.....Help me please.
  4. Find something you love, if you like to dance, I always recommend Hip Hop Abs, it's great for tummy toning and it doesn't feel like I'm working out. Also, Zumba is a blast so check out Zumba — Ditch the workout, Join the party!

to find a location that offers it near you if you think you might like it. I loved it and even though I couldn't keep up, and am not the most coordinated person in the world, I enjoyed the heck out of it.

If you like to be focused, then I suggest joining the YMCA near you, and have them teach you how to use the machines. That is part of their membership fees. They will teach you how to use the machines, and which exercise work best for certain areas of the body. My Y offers Zumba so I was able to use the gym stuff and do Zumba all for 30 bucks a month.

I hope this helps. To find Hip Hop Abs, check out amazon.com

  5. Currently, I'm doing some light isolated toning exercises with the EA Sports Wii Active. I also only lift weights and have quit all cardio. During my losing stage, I did Hip Hop abs 2-3 days a week, and then I would lift 2-3 days a week. I would change it up quite a bit, and didn't have a real structured program until around 6 months out. Then I got real serious with the weight lifting. I laid off of it after my gallbladder surgery in February, and haven't been able to get back on schedule.

  6. tiffy, Iwant want to know what type of evercices are you doing. I have no inspiration for mine.....

  7. HI!, I had my surgery on april 9. I have lost about 10 pds on the first week then.....nothing! AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGG! I am know eating normal food, cut in little pieces. The scale won't go down for 2 weeks now, I am so upset!!! I try to track my food on fitday.com and I realized that I am below 50-60 gr of proteine a day. The problem is that I can't tolerate Protein suppl. I am around 50 gr of glucids and 25 gr of fat each day..... And I don't feel any restriction with Water, is it normal? Pros of the sleeve....please help me!:redface1:
  8. oh yess! You can be sure of that....5 days to to the beginning of my new life! Thanks for your support! xxxxx
  9. Now, I know that I can do without vegetables....but I can't do it without you lol! Thank you so much, all of you!
  10. how do you know if your stomach is getting ''bigger''? I will have my sleeve next week and i'm very afraid to enlarge my stomach after sugery. The truth is that I am not able to eat vegetables...so i'll have to fill my stomach with something else....I eat meat with no problem at all. This is good shortly after surgery but later...?I know that in the futur, my portions will have to be small, but do I will be able to eat meat, milk products, cheese, fruits.....anything else but vegetables....yark!!!! Do you think i'll be able to lose weight without vegetables in my diet? What your diet looks like after surgery???? Thank you to help me with my diet issues.
  11. can you tll me more about your diet? You look so wonderfull!!!
  12. you're my best! You are my motivation to go through this operation!!!!

I am waiting for a WLS and I have to choose between a VSG or a biliopancreatic derivation. But the problem is that I really don't know wich surgery I must have.
