  1. 2 weeks to go

My surgery is scheduled 2 weeks from Monday. I am doing good on my preop diet. Dr. said I didn't have to, but I decided to do low carb to get over the carb withdrawal.

Told my daughter this weekend while she was home from college. Didn't seem to bother her. She just asked a few questions. I guess at that age they are really more concerned about what is going on in their circle.

My boss is the one who is having problems accepting this. He tried to talk me out of this everyday. I just keep telling him that he might be right but I am not changing my mind. At least I only have to listen to it for 2 more weeks. He is not doing it out of meaness, he is really worried, but I can't convince him that it will be alright.

My husband on the other hand is very supportive about the surgery.
