  1. You've gotten many good suggestions and sometimes it just takes time to really feel better. I took Zegarid post op until about 6 weeks ago due to the acid reflux and in my experience it worked better than the other acid reducers. Also, definitely do what you can to get in more Protein (easier said than done). One tip that helped me was to measure out a couple of scoops of Protein powder in the morning and add a sprinkle to different foods - yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. Hugs and good luck to you...
