I am having mine done at Kaiser in California on the 19th. 9 more days!!!! Are you excited??? Nervous???

I am struggling with the Optifast!!! Ugggggh!! I am excited though. I am ready. When do you leave for Mexico??

I had my Pre-Op today. It was not with the doctor. It was with the Pre-Op department. They drew my blood and did the EKG. I am really excited now!!!

I hope you feel better. The nausea must be pretty bad. I also regretted the surgery the first few days I got home, ofcourse mine wasn't as bad as yours, but now I love this damn sleeve! You will too when you get over this hurdle. Did Dr. Zane give you some nausea meds? I am so sorry this is not going well. Believe me...it will get better. I was so depressed I wanted to go to Kaiser and find my stomach in the trash, but now I love it. I will be praying for you. Keep me posted.

OKay I am excited now!! I have lost 10 pounds in one week!! Tomorrow is your day. I am so happy for you. I will be praying for you. You are in my prayers. I can't wait until you are on the other side. Oh, don't be suprised if things you liked before taste different afterwards. I can't stand the shakes I liked before. I now drink the Atkins protien shakes. Keep me posted!

Same here. It is just so difficult to drink. I think maybe the inside is still so swollen. I don't know. I have been so frustrated. I have even had regrets!

The Heparin (blood thinner) is given every couple of hours post surgery.

The nurses give you Dr. Zane's final instructions. The nurses are the ones that made me feel really assurred! They kept saying, "You are getting the Best!!" "He and Dr. Belzberg are the best!!! "They kept saying. I don't know if I have lost anything. I have cheated here and there so I don't know. The EKG is just the test where they put the electrodes on your chest and it monitors your heart for a minute or so. It is painless. You do have to take your shirt off and expose your Pre-Skinny body. LOL I ready......ready.....ready.

We are going to be fabulous and 40 soon!!! You have 6 more months and I have 8 more months!!! Can't wait!!
