  1. Hi all, My mother is going to have her surgery on Monday the 28th - I am planning to give her something nice since it is shortly after Christmas, and because I know this can be hard to go through. My idea was to gather some quotes/stories/ideas/inspiration/encouragement and write them in little envelopes - one to open each day of the month after her surgery. I was hoping some people might want to share their story in short form that I could quote on these envelopes. Or if you have any quotes, encouragement, or funny uplifting stories related to getting the surgery I would love to hear them! I hope this will also help other people who are thinking about the surgery or are nervous about an upcoming surgery. Thank you so much in advance, and happy holidays!
