well here in the last two weeks, i have either been at the ball field or at work. i don't get off till 530pm and then drive 45 min home. i absolutely feel like such a bum. i want to go back to the gym...

tonight at the ball field i ate 1/2 of a hamburger with the bottom half of the bun, 6 fries, probably 4 nachos and cheese chips and then when i got home ate 1 scoop of mint chocalate chip low cal/fat ice cream. i did not do good tonight. it is really bad when you come straight from work to the ball field!!i guess i will start over tomorow!!

My husband had rny in dec. and I am more jealous of him than he is of me. He talks about lady friends that are his sales reps or business associates that make comments to him and hugging him. He has hardly said anything about ppl looking and making comments about my weight loss. He does say he is satisfied with my weight loss and he doesn't care if I don't loose anymore weight.

that does look good girl. thanks for sharing. my husband loves him some salisbury steak and gravy. he wouldn't miss one ounce of anything with this recipe. again thanks for adding this recipe, will have to try next sunday. ttyl

i was never a band patient, i opted for the sleeve right away. i howeverer know so many patient that have had so many complications due to a band. my husband aunt almost died from the band because she couldn't eat anything but shakes-like insure, then she couldn't keep anything down, not even liquids. she was wasting away to nothing. come to find out her stomach had inverted around itself and kinked up. good luck with whatever decision you guys make. God Bless..

good luck getting your sleeve approved. i hate that so many of you have to jump through hoops to get this much needed surgery. it is so ridiculous how insurances rule our lives!!!

okay i am sick of this freakon stall i am on. i am so depressed to the point i don't even want to eat one bite of food all day but i had an episode this am where i was so dizzy feeling, felt like i was going to puke and when i ate some cheese eggs, bacon and a graham cracker i felt better. i felt like i had been on a 7 day drinking party!! i think i know what happened but it still didn't make me feel any better about myself. i am so down about the weight loss and it sucks a big one!! i hate feeling this way. thinking about not worrying about carbs and doing a low fat plan. not real sure but not losing this way. barely eating, low carbs and still not losing. SUCKS A BIG FAT TOE!!!

i have just the opposite on the snacking thing. my problem is at home!! i see my kids snacking on items and then i want to snack too. i am not sure if this is going to work for me to get to goal like so many others have. well we will have to see.

that is very exciting. yea for you girl. you deserve to be happy!!! go try on a pair of blue jeans just to see what size you in!!!
-
i really don't know why this happens but it is very uncomfortable until you wither burp or get it out. i guess that is why they tell us to sip very slowly and to not drink while eating. good luck everyone..

smelly melly- yes you can buy them on-line. Amazon.com has quite a few different flavors that you could buy. you could also take like craft sticks or freeze the cystal lite kool aid mixed with Water in ice cube trays to make some icey pops. they would be better than the store bought kind. good luck. you can probably buy ice cube trays online. let me know if you need anymore help..

last week i picked up some calcium citrate at GNC. they are really good and chewable. they are a little big but they actually taste really good and i don't have to swallow a horse pill... good luck

you are doing great. take some measurements and then take them again in about 3-4 weeks to see how your body is changing. stalls and little weight loss is very discouraging for everyone on this forum so please don't think you are alone. we have all gone through lots of pain over the years and we want this to be successful. none of us went through surgery to be a failure so we all just need to keep our chins up. good luck and you are doing so well..
