Oh, ADNK, I am sure the sleeve will be the right tool for you. It is very doable and the results are amazing. Only 2 more days to go. You are almost there. Good luck with your surgery and wt loss.- Do we always have to talk about the sleeve?

That is super. It had to be so exciting for you. Thanks for sharing your victory.- Do we always have to talk about the sleeve?
Well, I went today for the follow-up maintance for my medical pigmentation for my eye liner top & bottom and my brows. My eye liner was still OK but brows had faded. It had been 5 years since I had had touch up. Unbelievable. She just barely touched the eye liners but I got full deal on my brow. Cost of follow-up was to be $100 for eyes and $100 for brows but since she didn't do allot to eyeliner she only charged $50 for that. So was a deal. Origional cost she said would be $400 for eye liner top & bottom and $450 for brows. I forgot to ask about the lip liner or full lip. So I am all set now. Have to put neosporin on 2 X's day for 4 days and stay out of direct sun for extended length of time for a week. I'm all set now waiting to lose rest of my wt and then on to TT and and my neck. Neck will be 1st, I think. That is what people see. Heck might as well do them together, huh? ha. Get the pain all at once.- Eating out of controll
Hi, welcome to the forum. Congrats on getting a surgery date. Now you have a specific day to plan for. As far as your eating, I totally understand. I had at least 2 weeks of "last meals" as I called them prior to my pre-op diet. I knew I would never be eating like that again and it was my way of preparing myself for what I was going to be giving up to get my new healthy life. The strange thing is that at the end of the 2 weeks I didn't even want the food. I was sick of eating. My suggestion is to go ahead and have/enjoy your meals but try not to really gorge yourself. It is all a mind game. It will all work out and you will be able to eat everything that you are eating now after your post op diet. Good luck to you and hope to see you here again.- What's on your mind?
Oh mercy, I LOL when I read this. Too funny. Thanks I needed a laugh. carol- New to this, hoping to convert to sleeve soon!
- what will i ever be able to eat, and when?
Hi Tandy, I am almost 4 months post surgery. Very very few people know about my WLS. I now can go out and most times can eat without my lack of food that I eat being noticed by others. I can eat 1/2 sandwich, or if Mexican I allow myself 5 chips & salsa and then I can eat either 1 taco or 1 enchalida usually. I fill the time while I am eating slowly etc and others are eating TONS of food with conversation and just dinkin around and watching people and just enjoying the conversation. When at home I weigh out and put 2-3 oz of solid proteion my plate and then have maybe 1/2 cup of steamed veggies. I am "full" at that time. I have felt sad/mourned the lack of being able to eat but then I know I made the right decision with WLS and I move on. This is a learning process. It takes concentrated effort to move through this learning process. It is so worth it tho. I am so happy I have done this. The results are amazing. This first month is the hardest but it will get easier and feel more normal as your progress through the learning curve. Good luck.- Hi from Louisiana

Bob, I just found your post about your 2 week pics...all I can say is WOW. What a difference. Isn't this fun? With results like that it makes all the effort worth while. Enjoy the losing feeling. How are you doing with your eating this 1st month?- My story...
- Home early and feeling kind of yucky!
Hi, AJW, I tried to see/meet you when I was there for my check up and Yolanda said you were in surgery then. She said she would tell you hi for me. Hope she did. I am glad you are home and doing as well as can be. Good luck on your liquid diet and recoup. Take it easy. Keep us posted as you feel up to it. carol- All was well until today
mist3blue, That is very common when on the liquid phase. The saying is ...liquid in liquid out. This will get better. Thoughts are with you. I remember being in the same place. It will get better. Good luck. carol- September Sleevers!
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your surgery date. It will be here before you know it. Good luck on your WL journey. carol- Columbus, Ohio
Brad it sounds as if this is a very organized program. I like that. Takes allot of the "guess work" out of it. Will be interested to follow your progress. Keep us posted. Good luck.- Medication and Stress Echo Test
I also had the nuclear stress echo. Because of major foot and knee issues I was unable to do the treadmill. With this you sit/recline on table and you are injected and the stress is induced. I have had both and this is MUCH easier. If doc doesn't suggest this definitely ask for it.- I feel like I'm leaping before looking.
Welcome to the forum. I know you will find the answers to your questions and concerns here. One of the nice thing about the forum is that we all have been through it or are looking for answers. We all learn from the questions of others. Good luck in your search for info and in your WL journey. carol- Protein, Calories and Carbs.
I use Daily Plate but keep hearing about My Fitness Pal. I think I will give that a try. Easier is good. - Nana's story
