Thanks for the welcome. I am looking forward to it more and more.

I am taking celebrex right now for agonizing pain in my foot. It keeps it under control really well. Problem is i have been instructed by my Doc to stop taking it 10 days before vsg and I have a stress echo scheduled for 4 days after I stop taking it.:biggrin0: I am afraid I'm just gonna wreck my feet running. Waht all is entailed in the stress echo? Have any of ya'll done this before? Thanks.

My vsg is on the 25th of August 2009 and I am a bit aprehensive about the whole thing. I just want everything to be okay ya know. I am 5'11" currently 276 on the pre-pre-op diet. My starting weight was 282, not my heaviest but still too heavy with a BMI of 39.3. I won't have as far to go as many people here but I have struggled with my weight since I was 5 so 30 years later it is just as scary to think about. So many of you sound an look great!! I am ready to join the club as well. For myself, my little girl 8mos old, and my loving wife, I cannot fail, so I am looking forward to the end of the endless struggle. Ya'll know what I mean i'm sure. Anyway, some of the things I am thinking about regarding this procedure I can't really discuss with my family because they just get upset, so here I am. I'm sure I'll write more later.:biggrin0:

Hey there, my vsg is on august 25th in Dallas. I've got mixed feelings really. All in all I am pretty excited about the prospect of having a physical block on food that will force me in the right direction.
