Okay, I know this may sound like a stupid question but... My surgery is Monday and tonight is my sisters birthday. Does anyone know if it would be okay to have just ONE drink? I was thinking maybe even just water with a little vodka in it?

Has anyone ever gained weight during your pre-op liquid diet? I'm on day 7 and every day the scale was lower and lower, but today I'm 2 lbs heavier. :/ I'm wondering if my metabolism is slowing down and storing fat. Can that be a possibility?

Hi everyone! New here. Hoping to meet some friendly people! My surgery is scheduled for Oct 14th!! My pre-op liquid diet is going surprisingly well, on day 6! Atkins shakes, whey protein powder lots or sugar free Popsicles and sugar free jello do the trick! I've had headaches since day one however. Anyone else experience this? Also my job requires lots of moving around and lifting, does anyone know about how long recovery is?
