sooooooooo EXCITED getting BANDED TOMORROW 9/27...surgery scheduled for 10:30am but have to be at the hospital at 8;30am..To all my band sisters having surgery tomorrow...I want to wish you an amazing & successful surgery and a great & speedy recovery! blessings to all! Getting super nervous as well... I did all my pre-op last Friday, Liquids for the last two weeks... reading my lap band book again and going over my diet for the next few months.... Good luck to all! :-) :-) -

Thanks for replying. I am real nervous and excited. I truly appreciate the information provided, I was just super curious. How long were you out of work? I work in an office setting and they told me that I could go back to work on Monday...But I took monday & Tuesday off..so a total of 5 days including surgery day, weekend plus Monday & Tuesday....I'm wonderingif that enough time... -

Congratulations on getting banded...hope your situation gets better. It must be real hard, stay strongand drinl your liquids... I'm doing the pre-op diet and I kind of know what you feel those hunger pains are something else. ? Do you feel the band? do you feel tightness? do you feel different? Just curious, cuz my surgery is on 9/27 Good luck and keep us posted. -

I am so happy for you! I am on the 9/27 and I am in Tampa we are about 4 hours but we can still keep in touch. Have you started your pre-op diet? What was your original date? I heard Cigna is hard to give approvals happy you got yours!! -

OMG!! They told me to do 5 protein shakes a day and two quarts of water./// jello/crystal light.popsicles.. I am curious to know what type of protein shakes are you drinking? My doctors office sold me Optifast! Anybody else drinking Optifast? -

Hi I am new to the site as well and I just found out on Sept. 5th that I was approved for Surgery and I am officially scheduled for Sept. 27th so excited. I am really excited to go thru this new journey with my family and now you all!!! Wishing everyone much success and blessings! -

Congratulations on your surgery date! I just found out on Sept. 5 that I was approved for surgery as well. My surgery date is Sept. 27. Picking up my protein shakes on Monday. I wish you much success and blessings on surgery date and after.
