Hi Dana! Welcome to the board!!! I too am waiting for insurance approval. I just hate waiting, time just seems to drag. But, all this waiting has given me the time I needed to do a lot of research, and get to know all these wonderful people on this board.
  15. WoooooooHooo!!! What a great job you've done!!! :banana :banana :banana :banana
  16. Alex, I am so glad *that* is over with, LOL!!! I'm sorry you went through it. Like you, I am not a vomiter and have done so on only a few occassions. However, I have never once vomited without crying afterwards. Its like I can't do one without the other! Whassup with that???
  17. Way to go, Leatha!!!! I hope you have tons of fun (& flirts!! ) I haven't danced in so many years, I'm sure I don't remember how to do it.
  18. Well, I have every intention of being a closet bandster. However, I know there will be questions, especially at work. I intend to answer those questions by looking them square in the eye and saying: "I am not comfortable discussing my surgery with you now. When I decide I am comfortable with discussing it, I will let you know." If the person is persistent with the questioning, I will keep looking them square in the eye and repeating that same response. One of my bosses is the Director of Health Services and you can bet your boots I will have to do this with her, LOL!!! Just remember that nobody, but NOBODY!!! has the right to invade your privacy unless you allow them to. Sure they can talk and speculate behind your back, but you will at least have the satisfaction of knowing that they won't know for sure what’s going on unless you tell them. Same thing goes for questions about your weight loss. IT'S YOUR PRIVACY, if you don't want people to know about it then don't tell them. Over the years I have gone on countless diets and lost countless pounds and I always got the same questions, "How much weight have you lost?" and "What are you doing to lose all that weight?" Usually, most people mean well when they ask, but it always made me feel uncomfortable and I have learned to be pretty blunt in my answers. I usually say something like, "I'm really not comfortable discussing my weightloss." And immediately change the subject. Yeah, they may think I am rude, but in reality, I am no more rude than they are for asking such personal questions. Corner, what corner?? LOL!!!
