Does anyone know how long you have to wait to fly on an airplane after surgery? I am having my surgery sept 3rd and I am supposed to fly on the 19th... Will this be possible 2 and 1/2 weeks later?

I'm being sleeved on Aug. 14. Really nervous.

The FB group should be set to "secret", and it won't show up at all to friends. Your joining, etc. is kept totally private. No one can search the group either! I'm a member of another one for a volunteer leadership group I'm in. HTH!

I just got a call from the hospital, I'm scheduled for surgery at 7:30am tomorrow, but I have to be there at 5:30am. I am soooo ready!

Yes you can...gets better everyday. I am 2 weeks out and I am not hungry at all. eating my 3 meals and drinking as much as i can between meals. Hang in there.

I am scheduled for aug 6.. And questioning weather I can do this, I feel so hungry and weak on my liquid diet.. Help

I attended my Pre-Admission Testing today and all is well. I am ready for this Friday.

I only seen my Dr. Once. I have an appointment on the 7th. I guess he will ask me then to start my low carb diet. Tomorrow I am going for labs, EKG and chest X-rays. I am very nervous. Can't sleep at night. ????

I saw the surgeon in June... I have my pre op assessment on the 5th and my last class on the 13th... I start my pre op diet on the 10th and that's low carb high Protein. How about yourself...

He can climb on the couch but my bed is too high! I might out a step stool there and maybe he can get up there on his own. He definitely cannot climb into my car it's also an SUV.
Good news I got approved by my insurance and my surgery is scheduled for August 29th!!!! I'm excited and nervous!!!

Can you teach the little guy to climb? When my first son was 15 months I was already very heavily pregnant with son #2 and due to a painful pelvis issue I had to stop carrying him. The drs advised me to teach him to climb up info the bed and into the car himself.
Maybe he could sleep with your 6 year old instead of a crib?

Wow. Now I'm really worried. How will I put him in his crib? Take him out? Put him in his highchair etc. Definitely need to figure something out before my surgery date!!
