    Just banded on July 17...

Thank you SO much!!! It really is tough to step back from a busy life and take it easy, but I'm finding it is absolutely necessary. I'm also a full-time teacher, so I'm hoping to have this period of malnutrition taken care of before heading back into my classroom. I love this forum...amazing to see all the positive energy.
  2. I'm in the same boat...I just got my band last Wednesday and know I need to recover from surgery before I get ideas of grandeur for working out. I'm looking forward to my 2-week post-op appointment to see if I get the OK from my surgeon to start hitting the pavement again.

    Anyone use UP by Jawbone?

I'm considering getting one since it will work with my iOS. Thanks for the motivation!!!

    JULY 2013 BAND BUDDIES

I agree with George! I'm working on my full liquids now, but may stretch this out a little before tie mushies.

    JULY 2013 BAND BUDDIES

Thank you, fashionstylist! I'm feeling a bit "heavy" and swollen around the abdomen right now, but I'm thinking it's just post-op stuff.
  7. ...and terrified that I'm not felling 70%! HA! I know I need to give this time, but I have some tightness on my right side, as well as slowly moving from clear liquid diet to full liquids. My husband and I have a 4-year old boy, a 5 1/2 year o,d English Setter, and a 10-month English Setter. Needless to say, we have a busy household and me being "out-for-the-count" for more then 4 or 5 days is proving a challenge!
