  1. I have one and love it too. I'm Pre-op but I bought it for my kids to make healthy smoothies. We use it all the time. I imagine it will come in handy after surgery also.

  5. I know exactly how you feel. I too told my immediate family. They are all over the place with the idea and mostly think its too drastic. I was Hoping for support, but I agree that only we can make the decision for ourselves. I have so many fears but I can't help but to long for the day of walking up the stairs without being out of breath. I can only hope everything goes well or I'm sure I'll hear endless told you so's. I wish you the very best on your journey:)
  6. ZandN, thanks so much for all the great info. It was not too much information. For a newbie like me who is really nervous, it was perfect! I too am nervous about it being irreversible and living a horrible life for as long as I live, but I try and focus on living healthier. I Don't want to be addicted to food and I want to walk up stairs without being out of breath or my knees hurting. I want to run after my kids and take walks without dreading that feeling of having to get up off the couch because my back hurts. Thanks again for your responses.

Not sure if i will be scheduled for june or july. I'm nervous and excited about this whole process. Would love to connect with people for support! Thx:)
