Side ache
I still have pain too on the left side but I figure it is not as much pain as having the lapband in. Thank you Jesus!! I found that adding crystal light energy flavors to my water help me get the water in and they add to the energy too. Who knew! My NP said it was ok, so I am glad I added them.

No Energy
Protein make the body good. check with your Dr or NP to see if you can add some vit b12 into your diet. It helps with energy too.

Surgery on Wednesday! OMG
Yay, happy dance for ya! At the hospital they will let you know what you can have the clear menu is what I was put on. And I found the popscicles a big treat. The tray of food took over an hour to finish and just when you do finish your meals you want to fall asleep and the nurse pop in with pain medication. So it's all good!

Why the sleeve?
I had the lapband surgery and just had the revision to remove the lapband and have the vsg sleeve done. My second surgery was such a blessing from the first. I was up and walking the hallways with out alot of pain, surprising my stomach looked great the next day too. The best part that darn lapband was no longer in me and I look forward to hugging my little one with out pain!!

I had my medical clearance today and was shocked at what the Nurse Practitioner said to me...
I dont think that is true, unless you continue to eat as you did before the surgery. Please dont take what they said to heart, they are just wanted to let you know that there are possiblities of gaining back the weight. Accept the challenge to make the sleeve work as a tool and continue to believe and work towards your goal. I have heard the lapband has a 3% of success rate from my doctors office, it depends on the placement the lapband used and weither or not the Lapband slips, kinks or leaks. Most of us who have had a revision experince many problems with it. Good Luck to ya!!

Lying about Weight Loss Surgery !
This made me laugh so hard i had to hold my side!! I agree everyone has their own personal reason for telling the truth or not telling. If you have experience any kind of judgement before about weight you have learned it is better to keep your mouth shut because thouse that learn the personal surgery you have often want to chime in at every moment they can on what you eat and how you look. I rather have the people i love know and the people I dont love dont need to know..

WTH are some people thinking disregarding post-op diet rules?
Wow i could never imagine having pizza with my new baby stomach. The way I see it is this new stomach is like a baby and so is my digestive system too so I am looking on my list of Doctor approved post op foods as a list of "oh wow" lets see what i can have this week. I try really hard to have my family eat like normal and I figured if the bacon didnt effect me nothing should. This is my chance of a new and healthy life and I want to do everything right that i can do I waited to long to get my approval to get my sleeve that I will make this happen.
