    There was no way I could possible drink the recommended number of protein drinks right after surgery or even a month later. It's just too much. You are so swollen on the inside right now. Do your best and don't worry it will come as you heal. I highly recommend a stool softener if your doctor has not already. The protein drinks are killer in that regard. Best of luck to you! Jean
