Now that your a little older it time to get back on the wagon and stop the bad habits! change can help you in the long run and you will need to get USED to new healthy HABITS. Its takes time and you have to really want it. Only you can decide if you want to make the change. You are still young and have the chance to enjoy life to the fullest ! But in a healthy way. I am 59 and have so many health problems and WAITED till now to do something about it. I know it will be harder for me but i WILL DO IT ,,,but wished i had done it years ago. I have the same problem with the lower back ache! I have my surgery for the 20th of this month and i am scared but know i need to have it . if i did not i would die soon . I know that the surgery will save my life. its a chance i need to take . i Started at 326 and now weigh 306. i hope my back also stops hurting....Good luck to you!

I just wanted to say one or 2 things. Is your boyfriend afraid of change? just a thought ,you might want to reasure him that you will always be there for him and tell him you love him. This might help....Good luck.

Hello! Bajagal here. My surgery is the 20th of this month and the pre-op diet is doing fine. My surgeon put me on a diet of chicken broth, 2x day, Protein bar 2x day, Protein shake ( premier protein)2x day, list of vegtables (non starchy) i can eat fresh or cooked durring the day.i cook some vegtables with i can;t believe its butter spray ( no cal or oils- 0 carbs) and pam in the oven. whey protein mix with sugar-free H2O strawberry Water 1x Day, and a lot of WATER. i started at 326 pounds on a high protein low carb food diet on October 15th,then started on my pre-op liquid & veg diet on Halloween 31st. I now weigh 310. I am kinda concerned that my blood sugar will drop after surgery. and hope there is not to much pain. but at the same time i know things will be better in time! Thank You Bajagal.

Well i have that same feeling and i think we feel that way because we are not used to change in our mind and body. The way i think about it is this: i have been over weight my WHOLE LIFE and the change is kinda scary. We have never experainced something unknown and new to us and that can be scary. We are so used to living a certain way, and thought it was normal. But in reality was not healthy. Change is always new to us,and also know that i am scared to! My surgery is November 20th and i have been on this pre-op diet since Halloween and doing well. I have talked to my family about this and friends and Doctor. Its Normal to feel this way and i think others might have the same feelings. But you and me are still going through with it, because deep inside you and me know what we truly need to be happy. If anyone wants to know ,i am on a pre-op diet and using premier Protein shakes (ready made) from Cosco and Walmart They are very good.

I am not a doctor but maybe it could be the acid from your juice drinks? just a thought.

Boopthistoo please check your inches i be-leave that when you stall your body is in the process of losing inches. just be patient and i know that stall will break. ,,,good luck Bajagal
