First stuck episode
Giiiiiiirl, I had one last night and it lasted longer than any before (20 minutes) I was already in bed, typing away on one o these topics (LoL) and got up to take some pain medication, but my stomach was empty. I took a slice of ham and a slice of cheese rolled them up and by the 2nd bite I felt it. Wanna know the CRAZY thing??? My 4lbs chihuahua looooooves ham, so in desperation I just gave it to him and headed for the bathroom, I could hear him out there STUCK AS WELL....!! At least we had each other. And for the first time I experienced what "slime" is. Too gross!!

So confused!!!! I cant seem to get the fill right
Two weeks is wayyyyy too long. Usually by the 4th day you should be able to eat solids. You should probably get some taken out.... You'll still lose weight, don't worry. Your overall health is more important. I'd be going BANANAS if I was on only liquids again. Call them TODAY!!!

A Blessing In Disguise
It's not, it's Russian roulette, but he has perfected the craft for 10 years now; however, now you're scaring me with your 38 year old son. Yikes!! Maybe we should continue to pull out even when I tell him. Thanks for that INFO!

alcohol/420
You're saying that MAYBE the coughing from smoking caused the slip? WoW!! Good thing I live in a not-so-420-friendly state (NY). Although, I only do it occasionally, probably 5-6 times a year, and just about half a joint. ThatIsAll Also, the munchies don't really get me cuz it's always late... We fool around a bit and SLEEP like bears till the morning. LoL And about the gain.... Don't make me come there and whip you into shape!!! I hope you get your revision.

Ohhhh, I get it now... He got "poked" by the IUD?! Sheesh! That's just a thin plastic string... How did he feel it???- I don't even know what to think...
Where do you live???- boycotting CVS....
She said: SUCCESSFULLY LoL- work temptations
Yeah, arch, just think of all you've gone through and say to yourself: THIS TIME IT'S GONNA BE DIFFERENT.- What do you order at restaurants after weight loss surgery?
I'm only 2 and a half months post op so I'm OVERWHELMED when I read menus. I usually go for fish or soup.... But at home I'm able to eat just about anything.... Give or take a few things here and there.- Joined the YMCA today!
I can't afford the Y But my daughter IS a member- I had a surgucal emergency at another hosp and NYU team failed to return our callsfor a week!!!!
HOLY SMOKES!! I'm so surprised by your experience. I hope you got the names of the people you spoke to.... More likely than not, Dr. Ren didn't get the messages. I can't see her just ignoring that kind of info. I hope you're doing well.- Anyone from Brooklyn?
Brooklynite right here! Had my surgery July 20 at NYU with Christine Ren. I've lost 37 lbs so far. I'm very familiar with The Slope.- Help!!
This is another low carb favorite of mine. Sometime I substitute the chicken for TILAPIA. It's the only fish dish my mother enjoys. TRY THIS! It doesn't freeze well, but it can stay in fridge for two to three days. TERRY'S CILANTRO CREAM CHICKEN 4 boneless chicken breasts 3 tablespoons butter 1-2 teaspoons McCormick Rotisserie Chicken seasoning * 3 ounces cream cheese, cubed 3/4 cup heavy cream 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1/2 of 1 small lime 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped, about 2 big handfuls While heating the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, liberally season the chicken on both sides with the rotisserie chicken seasoning. Don't bother measuring the seasoning, just use as much as necessary. Brown the chicken on both sides in the hot butter. Remove the chicken from the pan. Add the cream cheese and cream to the drippings in the skillet. Over low heat, whisk to blend well as the cream cheese melts. Whisk in the lime juice and stir in the cilantro. Return the chicken to the pan; cover and simmer 15 minutes, turning after about 7 minutes. When chicken is cooked through, place on serving plates and pour about 1/4 cup of the sauce over each serving. The sauce doesn't reheat well - but the taste is still fantastic!- Help!!
If you lead a busy life I suggest setting aside a day to cook things that hold well in the fridge for a few days, or even in the freezer... That way, you will always have a meal ready. Try this: MEATLOAF 2 pounds ground beef 2 eggs 1/4 cup low carb ketchup 1 1/2 teaspoons dry onion flakes 2 teaspoons Seasoning Salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded Glaze Mix all but the glaze in a large bowl until well blended. Line a 9x5" loaf pan with heavy duty foil. Lightly press the meat mixture into the pan; push the sides of the foil up to form a collar to catch any excess grease. Mix the glaze ingredients and spread over the meatloaf. Bake at 425º 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 325º and bake about 50 minutes longer or until an instant read thermometer reads between 140 and 150 degrees. Let the meatloaf rest a few minutes before slicing. Glaze: 1/2 cup low carb ketchup 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 2 tablespoons granular Splenda Makes 8 servings Can be frozen- Exciting NSV
Love it!- Band life... Serious questions...
Jim, that's actually a really nice history you've got there. I'm complaining about those who do .5 at a time (or less).... That's got to be frustrating. So far I've had: 1st 3cc 2nd 1cc 3rd 1.5cc (because I asked for the extra .5) 4th only .5cc because I lost 8lbs in 2.5 weeks. My surgery was 7/20/13 and I've lost 37lbs - Anyone from Brooklyn?
