Everything is ok. I had my surgery done at mercy in Rockville center Long Island. How is everything with you and where did u have yours penny

I had surgery at NY Methodist in Park Slope Brooklyn.. just watching what I eat bc its easy to eat non healthy food. I try to prepare all of my meals to prevent a possible bad food choice.

Brooklynite right here! Had my surgery July 20 at NYU with Christine Ren. I've lost 37 lbs so far. I'm very familiar with The Slope.

Hello HotButter Fly. I was told that NYU is the best place to get the lap band. How are you feeling? Thanks

Hi hotbutterfly' date=' hows it going.[/quote'] hey, there, pretty lady! I'm doing FINE! How are you? Guess what my nickname is...

I would have to AGREE. I'm feeling like a million bucks with only 37 pounds lost. Imagine when I'm up to 50, 60....!!!!! I'm on the job hunt, so that's a little depressing. Where are YOU in your journey?

HotButterFly. I'm done with all my test, paperwork did the 3 hour class ect. Then the dr. Who was going do the lap band in st Luke's after everything feb will be 1 year. He tells me he doesn't do it. Wtf Long story. But now I'm looking for a hospital that will do the lap band. And NYU was the hospital I was told to have it done. That's were I stand now crazy. Thanks

Hello Hot Butter Fly. How r u doing today? I just called NYU to get all this going for me fast . Thank God the young lady told me I can get copy's of my MR. ;) just waiting for an appt ;)

Same thing happened to ME with Bellevue Hospital. I did all my requirements and a week before my scheduled surgery they called and said my insurance doesn't cover that hospital. The Doctor called me personally to apologize and said he'd call his colleague (Dr. Ren) and asked her to expedite my process. Two weeks later I was BANDed.

Wow!!! But this doctor in st Luke's So call Dr. Koshy wanted to do the other one. I told him no way. I came here almost a year ago. I told you I wanted the lap band and nothing else. He looked upset said no I'm not doing it . I said then why put me thou all this to tell me after almost 1 year no your not going do it? He didn't answer . I took my papers and left. He pssss me off. He was pssss . he not getting his way. Is my body. Is what I want not what he says. I called NYU they told fill some stuff online. Then I'll get an email I guess from there I'll get my appt. And to get a copy of all my paper work from st Luke's so I didn't have to do all of that again. So that's were I stand with all this craziness. And I'm still smiling. ;) lol
