  2. I am in castle rock, had my band done 4 years ago, sadly things have not gone well the last year. Would be willing to support you and help me vet back on track.
  3. I was banded Sep 2013. Nov 2015 I got to my 'lowest' weight, losing about 55lbs. Not great, not where I wanted to be, but was still on the right path. Holidays hit and everything has gone down hill. I am currently up 25-30 lbs from my low, and last week I started having issues that the doc says is a slipped band. All Fluid has been removed, however none of the symptoms have gone away yet, he did say it would take a week or two. Current insurance will no longer cover any bariactrics, although we do change in Jan. I want to remove the band and have the sleeve done, but we will see how things go. Right now I feel so lost, discouraged and alone. Feel like I will never win the battle of having a healthy body, so I should just give up. I could really use some help from someone that understands.

  5. Just wondering if anybody is still following this link. I hope so. Last week I started having pain in my right chest and back, a few days later it feels like I have something stuck in my throat. Went to the doc on Friday and he says I have a slipped band took all of the Fluid out. 3 days later, no relief, he did say it would take a week or two ugh!!! My total weight loss was about 55lbs, however I am up 25 of those. So regretting the band and wish I would have done the sleeve instead, now insurance wont cover any surgery, so I guess I am stuck with it or go back to nothing. Feeling very discouraged, lost and alone.

  7. I have not lost any weight in over a year I am very active, I go to the gym or on a hour long hike at least 4 days a week. I do not eat bread, Pasta, rice or steak. I almost never have soda. I lost 40-50 pounds in the first 6 months and that has been it. I have my regrets is having the lapband and not the sleeve every day, but my husband was very against the more aggressive procedure. I truly do not know what else to do, as I still have 60 - 80 pounds to lose to be a 'healthy' weight. I have missed the support of this group, as I got a new phone and lost the app.
  8. I absolutely understand your feelings junkie. I was sitting pretty level all year, which was tough, my Dr said a fill could reasult in a weight gain, howeve the nutritionist convinced him to do a fill in October, I started losing again and was hopeful again. However I lost my job and the holidays hit and now I am up again. So trying to start fresh again. Im here for you all!!
  9. Still here, holidays are killing me, but they will be over soon. Miss you all!!. Merry Christmas everyone!!
  10. Yes I do.
  11. I have had my band for over a year, no major peoblems, not lossing weight quite like I want to, but I digress. For the last two days I have been getting major pain under my right side rib cage. The first time it was so bad that I had dry heaves. I have been stuck in the past but this is the first time to teally get sick. Not sure if its gas pains, issue with lactose or something else. Heat helps, gas x helps. Anyone havr a similar issue?

  18. PuraVida37 I go see him and the nutritionist in about 10 days, I am logging my food so they know what I am eating and he may do an small unfill. I am doing 30 minutes of cardio at least 4 times a week, and a couple days of weights. Yes glad that I am maintaining, but I still have a long road ahead of me.

  20. PuraVida37 - congratulations on all of your accomplishments you have a lot to be proud of!!! I wish I could say the same, I have really struggled the last 6 months, sometimes think I made the wrong choice to not have the sleeve. No where near where I wanted to be, but I have lost and not gained it back, just need to find a way off the plateau. I miss this group tons!!!

  22. Hello everyone. I have missed you guys. I am struggling, have not lost any weight in sometime now. Going in for a small fill to see if it helps, although I struggle eating most everything that is good for me. Junk food slide way too easy. I had such high hope for where I would be a year ago...not giving up, just need to refocus.

  29. I would love to be added Fran - arch002@hotmail.com. Would love to find more local support, I am south of Denver so the north group is a bit too far, but great to find me local folks.
  30. I had the sleeve in Sept 2013. Would love to have folks close to me as support, as my group on here is the greatest!
