  1. I was banded on Friday March 7th. It all went well. I followed my pre-op diet, but Dr. Marsden said my Liver was still enlarged. He said if I had kept going the way I have been my liver would of failed in 10-15 years. That was really an eye opener. This weekend was insane. My daughter had a basketball tournament on Saturday that consisted of 3 games...I actually made it to all 3. I was feeling pretty lousy by the end of the last game. I kept my water-bottle with me and was able to tolerate some broth that evening. I'm back home tonight - spent Friday through this afternoon with my brother and sister-in-law they were great! I'm thinking about actually driving into work tomorrow morning...but that maybe the meds talking  and i may change my mind in the morning....LOL.

  3. I was all set to be banded on Leap Day - but found out the day before the Insurance approved surgery for a different Surgery Center. And since all I had was an authorization number and no approval letter in hand - I had to reschedule for March 7th.

  5. Hello All....I'm new to blogging - but I've decided this is would be a great way for me to work through the last anxious week until I'm banded. I will have my surgery on Leap Day! I've been cleaning out the pantry - I've finally settled on a few tolerable protein drinks Isopure Clear for hydration and 40g protein Maximum Protein - Vanilla 22g/ scoop
