I'm sure you'll get there soon enough. I never even thought about my fingers slimming down I was truly just focused on the scale. So this was a great reminder that it's about more than the number on that dreaded scale.

Thank you everyone!! I attached a picture of how small it looks and it on my hand. I'm still shocked something that small fit on my stubby finger. LOL!!!

So December 2012 I bought myself a beautiful ring for Christmas. It was a size 9.25. I was banded 5/30/2013 and recently reached my green zone. My ring was feeling loose so when I took it in for inspection I asked to have it resized. I now have a 7.5 ring finger. I know it's not much but I felt awesome.

Weird fill schedule???

I was banded 5/30/13 and had my first fill on 7/30 of 5cc's. Then last Tuesday I got a fill of 1 cc. I was still not feeling full so today I got another fill of 1.5cc's. My doctor said today that she wants patients to feel the band working. I won't know how good it's working until I get past this 48 hrs of liquids. lol

In need a fill asap!!!

My doctor's office is in Elmwood Park, Il.not far from Chicago. I know they are taking new patients, and I'm sure they take self pay. BTW weight fluctuations are normal at least for me lol. So don't get down on yourself.
6. I was banded May 30th. I had complications so I didn't get my first fill until the end of July. They put in 5cc's. At first I didn't feel restriction, but now I can go long periods without even thinking about food. Way longer than the recommended 3-4 hrs. I've been moving for the past week and yesterday I realized that I hadn't eaten all day at about 8 pm. That is not the norm by any means I know I must eat. I'm supposed to get a fill next Tuesday, but I'm thinking I might not need it. Not sure what to do....
7. I had my first fill today of 5cc's. I had to wait 2 months for a fill due to complications. I have the need to burp and I feel like I have something stuck in my throat. I am on liquids for 48 hrs I hope this throat feeling subsides. I feel like I'm finally on my way again since my weight loss was stalled.
8. I was banded 5/30/13 and I also have H.S. I am hoping that weight loss will slow down my outbreaks. Glad you're able to get back on your meds.
9. When I got banded I went home with no gas pains. Now weeks later I'm feeling all kinds of pains and the gas x is slow to help. I'm passing gas (sorry tmi) and burping so I'm hesitant to call my Dr. Is this normal?
10. I had my surgery 5/30/13. Since then I have been in the E.R., had my port site get infected with a hematoma. It is still healing and just Thursday I started getting horrible pains in stomach area. So yes I have questioned my decision to do this to myself. I am only 3 weeks in and I am going through it big time. However, I keep telling myself once this is all over with I'll be even stronger. I get down some days but I always remember I did this for a reason. Good luck!!
11. I was told to crush mine. I was on Bactrim after surgery which I have taken before. However crushing them gave me an allergic reaction. So they switched me to a different antibiotic. My pharmacist advised to crush and put in apple sauce.
