  1. I keep praying for that green zone and the full/satisfied feeling on a cup of food. Cant even imagine it yet. Have 8cc in my 14cc band. I can understand the blindfold needed before fills!!!! My husband was so scared of needles, when he got his marriage blood test, he fainted, then woke and threw up! My hero!!!!!!!!
  2. Good luck mandysha! I've never understood why the ports are put in so many different places. Just read an article in People today that NJ's governor's port is on his side. Mine is center, right under the bra band. And I mean right under!! I feel itbelow the surface easily.
  3. Welcome Back Kotter!! Vinnie Barbarino, Epstein, Horshack, Freddie Boomboom Washington, and the rest of us sweat hogs are glad you are back. Good luck on your do over.

  6. I don't know if true results is around here, don't really know about it, but to put your mind at ease, a docs reassurance may be worth while.
  7. Good luck to your mother. And congratulations to you for your hard work and success.. Thank you for thinking of the rest of us.
  8. Try not to worry, but yes, I would have it checked out. But more importantly, can you switch to someone else to give you the fill? I sure hope it wasn't your surgeon. It shouldn't hurt to get a fill. Good luck.
  9. Wishing you good luck and sympathizing with the torture of waiting all weekend. Try to distract yourself to minimize worrying.
  10. Good luck and good health to you. I hope I get spared those side effects. But thanks for the eye opening post.
  11. Name: quahog Goal weight on june 30th: 215 Weight on june 1st: 225 age:49 dietary goals: No Ice Cream or coffee drinks exercise goals: walk or water exercise every day Total weight loss: 32lbs favorite summer activity: feeling sunshine on my face
  12. I move my arms over my head, standing and moving until unstuck. Also, papaya enzyme works for me if stuck on Protein. Chew four tablets. The stuck to me is more a heavy ache in my chest, rather than pain. Does that make sense? I also feel no restriction, but have gotten stuck, once unstuck, could continue eating. I have to keep dieting mentality.
  13. Pool exercise continues.....100 jumping jacks, 100bicep curls, 100tricep extensions, all with Water weights. Pool jog for 15 minutes, tread water for 5 minutes, kick board 5 minutes.
  14. What a terrific post! So nice to read happy!

  19. Oh man, I'd never cry over spilt milk, but coffee? I'd be balling!
  20. Sounds like there will be success in losing because you are surrounded by support.(boy I wish I had just cruised too!!!) But I'll send support wishes anyway. : )
  21. Everyone one is diff, so you can't really tell. For every yes, you will read a no. I unfortunately can eat bread, never been stuck on it, so have to make a conscious effort to stay away. I usually do. I know I can't, and don't want to give up dairy. So maybe I'll follow your lead and be modified too!
  22. Just today heard about it for the first time. A phlebotomist was telling me how great she feels after eating this way for a month. Don't know if I have the will power but sounds very healthy.
  23. Today's humidity was good cause for a water work out. Water jogged for 15 minutes. 100 tricep reps and 100 bicep reps with water weights.
  24. Extremely gassy since getting banded. Like I became lactose intolerant. But I wasn't before, so it must be something else.
