I hope you get what you need. Sam's club and BJ's has Premier Protein drinks 11 oz ready made re-sealable bottles very good $18. Also Wal Mart has high Protein Shakes body fortress whey protein $15 and change. Both 30 grams of protein and good.

I'm APPROVED for surgery I'm hoping to have it done in October

I was a Sept Sleever., Just stopped by to wish you all the best!... IF YOU do what the Dr tells you to do and drink your water.... YOU WILL succeed. If you lose 50 lbs like I have seen so many do, and then start eating Oreos, and chips instead of your Protein and veggies............. you will fail. My wish is that everyone that is fixing to have this surgery done is that you follow the directions and do not get slack after a few months, thinking I can do this... YOU WILL FAIL. This is not a miracle. You do have to follow directions and rules. Do not ask after a month, why am I not losing, Can I drink alcohol.......... SLAP!!! SLAP!!!....... you will not lose every DAY, or WEEK. you will STALL, for what seems to you months. You WILL lose some hair..... to you it will seem like you are going bald, you are not. If you get in your protein and take your Vitamins, this will help you. NO you cannot have this surgery and in 8 weeks go out and drink like you used to. If I can help any of you please let me know. I have gone from pushing out of 18W to a 8P. I have talked to people that knew me BEFORE surgery that did not know I had it and they do not even know who I am, and I am talking people that I was close to. This is a lifestyle. eating change....... You are doing the surgery to SAVE your life or make it better, please do not slack off after you have lost a few pounds, and there will be some of you that will do this. Hey if you guys are into Greek yogurt, I found Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt. It has 80 calories, 8g of carbs and 12g of protein! It's not bad. I love mu mullers, but that has lie 23g of carbs for 9 g of Protein. Just thought I'd share.

Out of network and they didn't tell you? Seems like your coordinator is at fault with this. Isn't she responsible for coordinating your surgery according to your insurance providers? I would take this further with your doctor because at this point you are responsible and you trusted his people to take care of you. Seems like there has to be some place to take this grievance. I am sorry you have to pay this but it is still cheaper than the $10,500 I had to pay. Good luck and don't let this go!!

For years I wanted to go to a Yoga class. Yesterday I attended my first class! I was able to hang for the whole class. So I was beyond thrilled! Afterwards my sister and I walked on the treadmill for a couple miles and spent some time on the stepper too. We finished up with a healthy fruit Protein smoothie from the gym's bar to celebrate! Can't wait to try Zumba and Pilates!!! Loving this sleeved life! Blessings!

I would add that I find Dr. Pham to be a very intelligent surgeon. Perhaps one of the most compassionate people in the medical field that I have come across. Nice to hear that others have had positive experiences with their surgeons.
Fantastic to find a group of WNYers here. Not surprising that the group is energetic and willing to help out others.

To people getting surgery my advice is to let anesthesiologist know u want nausea medicine before surgery U WILL NOT GET SICK AFTERWARDS WHICH WAS MY BIGGEST FEAR and it worked . and after sugery if i felt any at all told nurse right away during my 2 days ..... that will make you hospital stay much easier. hell i even asked for it when i didnt need too to help prevent from coming on

Hi all! Just found this thread! I was sleeved by Dr Caveretta on July 23. I've lost 20lbs so far. The first week was hard, the 2nd week i suffered from dehydration and the 3rd week I feel almost back to myself. I actually love synergy! They took care of me every step of the way. They saw me the same day i called when i was so sick 4 days post op. After reading posts on this site I can't believe how much more knowledge I have than others. I feel that they armed us with great information. Of course I am a dork and read the packets through and through before and after surgery. I loved Ann Marie and Nicole. I loved the required classes we had to take. To me they were extremely educational and helpful. I met both Caruana and Caveretta both seemed a little stuffy but their successful surgeries speak for themselves. I can't believe it will be a month on Tuesday already!

Don't let anyone get you down. I have told only people that I'm close with. And very close family members. Shockingly the only person that shot me down was my best friend which is a big girl. She put me into tears. It really broke my heart. My husband isn't thrilled about it but was better once I said it was doctor recommended and pointed out all of the positives. I'm looking forward to the change and getting my life back. There finally comes that time when you are ready to put yourself first, and this is it!!

I'm excited for you dawners!! My SIL had her surgery in January. She's down I think 60lb. Been stuck for a month. She's still slowly losing. I've heard great things about him. With Dr. Cavaretta he sounded like a recording, asked if there were any questions. I asked how long out of work. And then he walked out. I just figured that's how it goes there. I've heard lots of great things about the entire place and have had a pleasant experience so far. So I figured it was all my nerves feeling like it was short, sweet, and to the point.

I'm having my surgery at sisters hospital in sept!! In live in a small town an hour and a half away
