mine took me a couple of days to get approval from BCBS back when I had surgery October 3rd 2013

My starting weight was 407 and I have lost 67 pounds so far and my weight is 340 pounds and my current pants size is a 46 and I started at a size 56 before my surgery . things are going well so far

good luck with everything the pre op class was very informative I had the gastric sleeve done October 3rd 2013 and dr Caveratta did mine at sisters and the first few days are the toughest with the ore op diet but after that it's easy

I agree dr caveritta is a good dr but his bed side manner could be better

the pain is in the middle of my stomach and radiates to my right side and goes to my back sometimes and my right shoulder hurts at times too and it hurts more after meals and when I take a deep breath it hurts too and I had an ultrasound and no stones came up but the tech said that it still could be gailbladder even with out Gail stones and thanks I hope they figure it out too and plus I've been belching a lot also

Hey everyone is it normal to gain weight I'm 4 months out and I've lost 65 pounds and I have gained like 5 pounds and I'm tracking everything and doing restiance bands and been shovling snow and haven having stomach pains in the middle of my stomach that radiates to my right side had an ultra sound and no Gail stones but still having symptoms and syngery is sending me for an uper endoscopy i would think they would send me for a HIDA scan instead cause when the dr did the exam and pressed where my pain was and the drs like sounds like gailbladder so I'm a bit frustrated but I'm determined to keep going with the weight loss could it be I'm at a stand still for the weight loss for a bit and then go back to loosing

When is syngery doing there suppourt groups have they found anyone yet to do them and it would be nice if syngery would put it on there website

Hello nice to meet you too Madeline and yes I have been having fragility bm so I'm stumped so when I see my surgeon I will ask him what it could be cause I'm frustrated with the pain

that's what I was thinking since I still have my gallbladder when I see my surgon agree syngery I will ask about that and stay safe with the blizzard

Hey I'm 3 months out from surgery down 56 pounds and lately I have been having bad lower abdominal cramping and nausea and vomiting and light headed and dizzy and I had a colonoscopy recently and it came back normal and I'm getting frustrated cause I have no clue what's causing it and I'm getting my protein in and my fluids in and eating my small meals and I'm 28 yrs old and I don't think I should be having this many problems went to the ER twice and cat scans came back normal and blood work is normal also just a low vitiam d level and have been very tired any ideas

hope. Your surgery goes well and and I hope so too with the support group

Does anyone know if syngery baratics is having a suppourt meeting anytime soon after the holidays

I was in the Er before thanksgiving for begin constipated and with rectal bleeding and cramping in the lower abdominal area and now I'm on ciparo 500mgs two times s day and I'm on flygal 250 mgs three times a day and my dr said its an inflamed bowel and if it doesn't clear up then I have to see a gastroenterologist dr to see what's going on so I don't think it's all Er visits are due to dehydration like the one poster stated
