  1. Happy 36th Birthday cheronhb!

  2. I was banded on April 18th. I spent day one and part of day two in the hospital, for observation reasons due to asthma and sleep apnea. My recovery, while in the hospital, went well however, upon my return home I felt as though I began to have a setback. On day three I was barely able to drink or eat anything. I'm not sure if it was the pain from the gas in my chest and shoulders or the overall pain from the surgery, but eventually after showering and moving around a bit more I was able to eat a whole jello snack. I think the most intriguing change for me so far has been discovering and getting used to my new "full". Today is my fourth day and I feel good enough to get some light housekeeping done. I'm totally excited about my future and I can't wait to get over this recovery period so I can begin working out. I already feel as if I have more energy than before getting banded. Good luck and congratulations to anyone else that may be waiting to have the surgery, or recovering from it! Cheron
