  1. I think we are all singing the same tune to a certain extent. I have only lost about 5 pounds since October. It is really hard. I have never been married, but enough of my friends and clients have so I feel like it is like the first year of marriage. Before I got my band, I was really unsure and scared. Then the day came when I got my band, and I was happy, then about a month later we went through "bandster hell", and then over the next few months we have learned the ins and outs of our bands. I have learned now that I MUST take smaller bites and chew thoroughly, how many times did I pb knowing this but not thinking it through. I really did this whole experience would be very very easy. It is not, I have learned that like everyone says, it is so easy to eat the wrong things. We still have to diet!!! I am soo glad that I did this, but find that I do have to work at this. It is soo easy for that ugly head to rear and force me to eat bad things. We still have decisions that we have to make, it is not the answer just the help. Wow, don't even know where that all came from. Really been struggling myself with stagnantcy (Is that a word?) (If it is not, it should be!!). Hang in there Susie and everyone!! Congratulations to Michelle and TracyK!!!!!! Jane
  2. Off to work, have to be there earlier than normal today! Hate that, but it is for a good customer! You guys are funny about talking to yourselfs and each other!!! Good morning laugh!! Have a good day!!! Jane
  3. Tracy WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are so close to goal!!!!! Gives me hope!!! Shannon, my last fill was missing some, I am assuming it is a fluke, but the Dr. will recheck next month. Nothing to worry about 1st time. Jane
  4. Don't know what happened but have a great day!! Jane
  5. Well I survived boot camp! Now I need to take a shower and get ready for work. Actually I need to find a certain check book that I have misplaced that I pay my quarterly taxes with. They were due the 15 of this month. I am sooo unorganized sometimes!!! I peeked at my stock stuff, not too bad... Remember cut the crap day and WATER!!! hAVE
  6. Not only is tomorrow CUT THE CRAP DAY!!! It should also be I am not going to look at my stocks/ira's/401ks/ etc... It looks like tomorrow is going to be horrible!!! I start my bootcamp at a place called Butterfly Life. It runs for 8 weeks and should be fun. There are 2 or 3 Thursdays that I won't be able to make it there, but the rest should be fine. It is sort of like Curves, but they have a 8 week session that goes into dieting, then 1/2 circuit training, then another 1/2 hour with a workout dvd. Should be interesting. Need to jumpstart my weightloss. I so am not an exerciser. I wish I was. I wish I enjoyed it!! You could tell the girl today was saying how excited she was about it, but I think that was just her spiel. We'll see, tomorrow should be really busy, have to work by myself after being closed for 2 days. I hate that!!! I also start later than Charlie does so I will have 39 people ask me how come I am late! Oh well I am stopping my complaining and saying have a good night!!! Jane
  7. I am finally leaving!! I got my hair dryed and makeup on and dressed!!!! Yea me!!! Out the door!!! Jane
  8. SO UNMOTIVATED!!!! I was able to hop in shower, now when I should be getting ready I am hanging out on puter!!!!!!!
  9. I am for sure in, and can room with anyone! Jane
  10. Thanks Terry, Tracyk, and Haydee. Some of the flights did have carrier changes. You would think that coming from St. louis I could get a straight through flight!! I will continue to check!! Do you mind taking me back to Houston? Jane
  11. Does it matter if I fly into Dallas or Houston for a layover? Which is easier to get around. I was in Houston for a layover about 8 years ago, but I don't really remember! Jane
  12. I did some checking today and for a flight to come in about the same time as TracyKS, I would have to change planes in Dallas in 35 minutes. I have never been to Dallas, wondering if that is realistic? Jane
  13. Tracy hope you and Macy both sleep better tonight!!! Denise those pics were FANTASTIC!!!! I am starting a boot camp on Tuesday that meets twice a week. I hope it does me well!! Have a good night!! Where is Michelle???? Judy and Laura are out of town right? Jane

  15. Gina, not a stupid question, as of right now its San Antonio Texas, also staying in Gruene, but flying into San Antonio
  16. by the way, if this thread moves as fast as it did yesterday the reason I am not answering is because I am at work!! I have always wanted to go to the Riverwalk. I am excited!! Now that Tracy has made a reservation we have a time and PLACE to shoot for!!!!! YEA!!!!!!! Have a good one, I am off to take shower and get to work by ten. Jane
  17. Tracyks that is a fantastic airline deal you got!!! I am going to check after work to see if they fly out of St. Louis!!! Jane
  18. Just quickly checked on airfare from St. louis and it seemed to be around 220. Not bad.
  19. Well I had an interesting day, I found out my band Dr is moving to Oregon!!! I like her soo much and her partner is okay, I have seen him twice, and didn't really care for him much. Since I was self pay, my payment was for two years after surgery of fills and office visits, so if I go anywhere else I would have to pay. Plus, my Dr. that I have now bless her heart, gives you a shot of numbing stuff before the fill!! I have one of those really hard ports to find and it takes her 15 or 20 minutes of poking, well with the new Dr. NO NUMBING!!!! OUCH!!!!!!! But, on the bright side he has office hours on Mondays, where she doesn't and since that is my day off.... The other potentially bad thing is when she withdrew the fluid before adding more, I was 1 cc short!! That has never happened before and I am scared it is the start of something bad...She was perplexed as to why this was. I hope it is just one of those things!!!!! Alright I am done complaining!! Have a great night!! Jane
  20. Wow! Just got in and boy did I have some catching up to do!! San Antonio is great. Jane
  21. Okay I have tried to figure this out and it is probably a real stupid question, but what are page ranking pants? Jane
  22. If anyone needs me to do anything just let me know, I am pretty open, the only issue I have is money and that is already taken into consideration. I don't have computer access at work, but can make phone calls etc if needed. Jane
  23. Wednesday's Tip: I tend to stay up too late at night, I found this kind of interesting. Plus I liked the quote, it seems appropriate, because we have all climbed our first mountain, and are kind of struggling with the next ones!! Jane That first peak is the best place to pause and look back, to see if you took the easiest route, to learn the lessons from the first climb. And it is the best place to examine the terrain ahead, to change your plans and goals, to take a deep breath and begin climbing again. - By Michael Johnson The Saboteur Late-Night TV Not getting enough deep sleep inhibits production of growth hormones, which could lead to premature symptoms of middle age, such as abdominal obesity, reduced muscle mass and strength, and diminished exercise capacity.
