I don't really like pomade, but Kat is right, it is sort of a hair cream/paste. Some people really like it. I agree with Kat that it makes my hair feel dirty. It is not for fine hair. See why I am not a salesperson???

No fill, got one, reflux is horrible so they might take fluid out of band. On a different note, I am getting something personalized for a friend that has her name hyphenated, can only fit two initials, does anyone know what the protocol is for that? This friend is Gina Barren-Hetlage, do I make it GB or GH. She loves her new husband, so I want to make GH but I think I am supposed to make it GB, now that is her ex, and she only refers to him as her kids father, no name, or else a bad one I can't repeat. Any ideas??? Jane

Maybe I don't get out much, but I found some cheap flimsy ice cube trays at the dollar store that makes ice cubes to fit in necks of water bottles etc. If anyone wants me to bring some I can, maybe they are all over just haven't browsed the ice cube tray section in a while! Also does anyone or their family members wear pomade? I have wayyyy toooo much and want to get rid of it, so let me know. Jane

Good morning, slept late, didn't sleep great, but everytime I had to spit up I took tums after the episode and went back to bed. Seemed to do the trick for an hour or so. When this is fixed I AM GOING TO SLEEP SOOOOO GOOD. Well everyone have a great day!! I am going to clean and organize some things. Still haven't totally finished switching winter/spring. Susie, was he trying to drum up business? Maybe he has a new addition to his house he needs help with funding so he had his nurses google all patients turning a certain age!! Too funny!! Just got home from seeing Jersey Boys, was it ever great!!! If you get a chance to see it do!! I really wasn't looking that forward to it, we have season tickets to the Broadway Series here, and even though I had heard a lot of good things about it, didn't really want to go. Almost canceled going this morning. I am sure glad I went! I hope the reason everyone is so quiet is because they are having too much fun!!! TracyK what is going on with your cyst? Is it all better?? I didn't go to church today, slept sort of late. Slept better last night than a long time, I kept waking up, I kept spitting up, but I would go right back to sleep. Isn't that a lovely fact to know!! Is that called TMI? I went to SteinMart last night in search of the elusive shoes, didn't find the shoes, but got a cute top. It is a 3x, I get sort of down when I need a bigger size, but it was so cute I didn't mind. Well I am off to take shower! Tracy I go to the Dr. on Tuesday. Been an odd feeling all day wondering what I would do without the band!!! I really wish my Dr hadn't moved. TracyK, I hope your neice has been misdiagnosed!!! Isn't that hard to tell from a standard ultrasound?? I hope it is a horrible mistake and you and your family can be okay while waiting for the news. Well have a good night!! Jane

Kat that is so neat about the ring!!!! How special!!! I called my Dr. about my reflux yesterday and he referred me to a GI man, why do I have a reg Dr? Oh that is right so he can pass the buck. Anyways, I then called the office of my lap band Dr. and talked to his nurse, because my Dr. is a GI Dr., in a GI office. Anyways I am going in Tuesday, and she told me he might take all the fluid out of my band!!! Scares the shxx out of me!! She does not think it is the band, but, if they do an unfill, that way they will see. Oh well, if that is the case maybe Kat and I can finish everybody elses food they can't in Gruene. I do know I can't go on like this, I am not sleeping but a few hours a night, and am VERY CRABBY!!! Jenn, do you want something specific for your hair stuff? I know you have straighten your hair and color it, right? From the pictures I have seen it doesn't look super thick or super fine am I right? Laura, I am not sure what my starting weight was, do you know when we started the contest then I can go back and look for the post? If not it is no big deal. I think I only lost a couple pounds. Jane

Laura do you have the contest stats?? I weigh 243 this morning. Whoever comes in second I can either mail you your shampoo or bring it with me. I think I lost 2 or 3 pounds. But it is the same 2 or 3 pounds I have been flirting with for a while. Having major reflux issues, don't know if it is band related or not. Think I will call Dr. and see. Have a good one. Jane

Well I got a swimsuit today, it does not look great, and it is a size 26! I am going to try to pretend it is a size 16 and just mismarked. Actually it is from Just My Size and it is two pieces (not a bikini) but the shorts have pockets!!! I am a pocket person so that is great!! Time is creeping up on us for the trip!!! I am too unorganized of a person to pack ahead of time. I am sure I will put it off like I do everything and pack at two in the morning thursday night. Tracyks, that story reminds me of a time about 15 years ago, a friend of mine had three kids and is a nurse, her husband was basically non existant, so it was all her. The kids were rough housing on the couch and Wendy told them to stop, they didn't and Stephanie (about 5 at time) said she hurt her foot. Wendy made them all go to bed, and in the morning Stephanie comes crawling into her bedroom, because she can't walk, and she was crying and said her foot hurt. Wendy took her to the Dr. and sure enough it was broken. I don't know who felt worse, Stephanie or Wendy! Not being a parent, I guess you have to choose which ones are really serious, because kids are so melodramitic! Kat, I hope all is well with Manda! Off to work!! Jane

Amen Terry!!! You are sooo right! Sometimes that mindset is hard for me to find!!! Back from work, manicure and Dr.'s appointment. I have about 30 or 40 band aids on my neck and liquid bandaid on my jaw line! Looks stupid. But it doesn't hurt at all. It does for the second he does it, but after that no pain!!! Judy, I have a pair of 24 jean shorts, does that count? I think I still have my old pants, they are a size 5x!! They are knit elastic waist pants so I can stretch those suckers out to look like I have lost 300 pounds!!!! Let me know Judy on the shorts. I was hoping to fit in them by the trip, but unless I suddenly lose about 20 pounds it is a no go. Jane

Morning, well today starts my week. Didn't get the things dones yesterday I needed to. Oh well, busy day today here. I go to dermatoligist this afternoon and get some things cut off my neck, sounds like it hurts but it only hurts for a second. I have skin tags, they are a pain!!! They don't hurt, just are ugly and on my neck get caught on things. I hate to get them burned off because it takes so long to heal, so this way boom, and they are done. I am glad he will do them like that. Then I get my manicure. All I can say is it is a good thing I am a hairdresser and not a manicurist!! I would be broke and in the poor house. I had a nail break, so I thought I can fix that! I am a hairdresser!!! HAHAHAHA Looks so pathetic. I go everyother week and I don't know if I love that or getting my house cleaned more. Oh well enough jabbering, I need to get some things done!!! My posts are long when I need to do things aren't they!! Jane

Everybody at work is amazed that I am going floating. I am not sure why, just find it kind of odd.
