Back from the wedding. Was okay, but had a really bad headache and the music was throbby, not really so much loud, just pulsy, does that make sense? Food was good, cake was not. I didn't fit into my fat pants. If fact when I got on the scale I gained weight!! Now I have never said this on here before but WTF?????????? I got a fill that seems to be great, I am not hungry, and I gained weight?????????? I am not going in the right direction! Oh well, just finished TOM, I was given that as a birthday gift!!!!! My mom and dad also gave me a purple travel mug for my coffee when I drive to Alabama. Boy, I am rambling for sure!!!!! Hope you sleep well tonight Laura!!!

Terry, are you sure you can't hop on a plane and go to Palm Springs? You NEED a break!!! I hope (know) that both Haydee and Michelle will have a GREAT time!! I am very jealous!! I will be thinking of you Saturday night as I am listening to "We Are Family" and "The Duck Dance" at the wedding reception!! I am hoping to fit into my fat pants this weekend, and hoping that I can wear the same pants I wore last year to Texas to Alabama. Tracyk, listening to that girl sing, wow is that powerful!! She is good!! Sounds like everyone had a busy or relaxing or both kind of weekend!! Haydee was there traffic from New Braunsfels to Houston??????? Traffic drives me nuts, I don't know if I ever mentioned it or not, but I live less than two miles from work. Hate traffic!!! Love West Side Story!!! What kind of ring? Well everyone have a nice shorter work week. Actually mine is a little shorter because I am taking off half day Saturday for a wedding.

Well I am here with no new car. Probably I won't get one. I am not disappointed though. They were only going to offer me $1800 for my car, so if that is what it is worth, I may as well drive it till it dies! Went to dinner at the Elephant Bar tonight, I think only Pamela knows that restaurant, I think we are lucky to have one outside of Ca. My sister and brother in law lived in Tracy CA for a brief stint and found it. It POURED today!! Not just rain, but buckets and buckets at a time!! I am going to head over the the Alabama site, I had a horrible feeling tonight that I was supposed to get the balance to Terry by Memorial Day! I am late!!

How can you get feedback on your dissertation now? That seems so wrong. I am going to get my car washed and then off to the dealership, but I think I am going to wait for now. I will see what they offer, but really I think that I need to do some more research! Jane

It is raining here, supposed to rain til Thursday. Just got home from seeing Chorus Line, and eating a WONDERFUL BRUNCH!!!! Good thing all brunches are not this good!! It is also good that the brunch was expensive so I won't be tempted. I need to go clean out my car. My car is so filthy that if I want to sell it......... Pamela, love the pics!!! That is sooo neat!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats Pamela!!!!!! Did you have an annoucement that you can post on Facebook? I have never seen one for a Doctorate before!! Maybe they don't have them? That is so neat, and SUCH an accomplishment!!! Well I hope everyone is having a great weekend, and I hope veryone is enjoying and relaxing with the time off. Thanks everyone for the well wishes! Had a busy day at work, was by myself and booked so that is always kind of hectic. Then went to mom and dads and my mom and I went shopping. Two things I learned tonight. Good--I had to show my license and the women said I had really lost a lot of weight and look much better now. Made me feel good since I am struggling..... Not so good--I am totally out of shape. My mom uses a wheelchair and my dad said are you sure you can get it out of the trunk twice, I said sure if a 75 year old man can wheel my mom around I can lift it out of the trunk two times. Well I did it, but wow am I ever out of shape!!!!!!!!! I am totally pooped from walking all over with my mom in a wheelchair!!! Tomorrow we are seeing "A Chorus Line" my parents are taking me out to brunch for my birthday. I might buy a car on Monday, anybody have any words of wisdom on a Toyota Yaris? Oh well off for the night to see all my purchases from shopping!

Suzanne, it was really warm here too. I know they have opened up the pool here at my house, but never use it. I haven't a clue about what to do. A friend of mine came over tonight and we just sat and talked, and okay we had pizza! Work tomorrow so no long weekend for me!! Since Sunday and Monday are my normal days off.......... Busy week this week at work. I start my day off today with an older woman who I do first thing on Saturdays, but today she is getting a perm. I will be glad to have this over with. I have a bunch of colors today!! My hair has got some major roots, but I am trying to hold out a bit so I don't have to get it done twice before I leave!! I realized yesterday that it is five weeks from today that I leave, I am leaving later on in the day, working some first then driving til I get tired. That way I don't have to get up so early on Thursday!! I am babbling I need my coffee!! Jane
