  1. I was banded in 2013 and it slipped. Most like due to the fact that I continued bad habits like bread, rice and other junk. I had the band removed and revised to a sleeve on jan 23rd. I feel great. 1st week was the worst. Pain from where the port was. My surgeon was excellent. He said there was a lot of scar tissue but he was able to it. Weight loss is slower due to this being my second surgery but loss is a loss and I will take it. Not screwing up this time. Good luck!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. How are you doing? I had band to sleeve revision on jan 23rd. I have lost 15 pounds as of last week. I weigh myself once a week not every day. I go to the NUTRITIONIST on Friday. I can't wait to be able to have new food options. Stay in touch with your progress! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. My weight loss has been slow also but then I thought about all the junk I was eating before I got sleeved. All the fat is stored. Once our bodies come out of the shock we have them, the pounds will come off! Hang in there. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. I did fine with scrambled eggs and cheese but everyone is different. Try it. I use a baby spoon and fork and that helps me from falling into bad habits. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. I thought the sleeve was less invasive and safer but now realize there are risks with any of the surgeries. You just have to do what's best for you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I had a revision from band to sleeve on January 23rd. First week was awful. A lot of pain from where the port was which my dr said would happen. Almost three weeks out. So happy. Feeling good and down 13 pounds! Good luck to you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  24. I am 12 days post op. On purées. I am dying for a tortilla chip. I love refried bean dip but without a chip is killing me especially with Super Bowl Sunday. Has anyone had a chip or a cracker and just mush it in their mouth really good? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I am 12 days out from band to sleeve and the only pain I have ever felt has been the port. My dr told me that would be the case because it was in muscle. Thankfully I'm sleeping better now. Still can't sleep on stomach and it hurts sleeping on my back yet I find I wake up like that a lot. I can sleep on my side but if it's the port side, I hold the incision and that helps. Good luck.
