  8. I'm 15 days post op and idk if my stomach is growling or if its something else? feels like my stomach but I'm not sure. My stomach hasn't growled this whole time. Surgeon said when they remove the stomach it removes the part that tells your brain you're hungry so therefore you will forget to eat? Anyone know? Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App

  11. My heart starts beating faster. I'm guessing that's my full feeling because then I stop. Like my body is working overtime to get it digested. I'm still recovering so well see what its like in the future. Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App

  17. I went band to sleeve 1/23 also! So different from the band I love it!! Congrats on your weight loss!! How are you doing? Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
  18. Yeah I went to the ER for an incision and he said it looked infected. Its not. I took it that one time and went to see my doctor next morning he said don't take it. Only thing its going to do is cause me to have an upset tummy due to being a antibiotic. In the hospital after surgery they were giving me colace pills for constipation. I was afraid to swallow them so I didnt take them.. Now I take gasX pill almost daily. No problems. Its crazy how different every doctor is. I'm trying to not worry about it but that's like telling a fish not to swim. Trying not to let the emotions get to me and just stay positive. Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
  19. So I'm 12 days post op. I don't get the feeling of being full. I just listen to my body. My heart starts pounding little faster so I stop eating. I'm afraid I'm going to stretch out my stomach or hurt my stitches. I'm healthy other then being overweight. Also I'm able to drink more then just sip. I found this out by taking a antibiotic. The pill was relatively big and I need a lot of Water to get it down. I feel think I'm being phyiced out from having the lap band for so long. Feeling like I'm going to take a drink and it get stuck or take forever to go down. With the sleeve it just goes down. No problems but I cant feel the feeling of being full like I feel like I could just chug but I don't. I take multiple sips at a time and slowly swallow. Little by little. Anyone else? I know I cant be only one. Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
  20. Its totally normal. I coughed up all kinds of nasty stuff after surgery. Its from the ventilator. Its good to cough it up. It stopped for me around 5 days post op. Once the coughing stops your smooth sailin. Good luck to you ❤ Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
  21. I had to wait 6 months but had a appointment every month with my weightloss doctors. It flew by! In the beginning it felt like this is going to be forever. I kept myself busy and did what I had to do. I was happy it wasn't 9 months like some people had to wait! I lost 40lbs in 6 months. They didn't tell me I had to lose in order to get the surgery. They wanted to make lifestyle changes and that lead me to losing weight. Now I'm almost 2 weeks post op with the sleeve and I love it!! Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App

  30. ****OFFICALLY WEIGHED IN AT THE SMALLEST WEIGHT I'VE EVER BEEN MY ADULT LIFE!!!**** I had to all caps that because one its super exciting and two.. Its my birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! I'm 25 today. I always told myself I would be where I wanted to be in life before 25 but go figure.. Didnt happen but I'm feeling wonderful and I have a wonderful life! Before surgery I weighed 276. When I went home 3 days later I weighed 286. Also.. today I'm 1 week post op!! Ive learned not to be ashamed of the numbers on the scale because it doesn't defined me as a person. I'm working towards new things and couldn't be more HAPPY!! Sorry if I'm over excited but my birthday is always a good one and all this excitement together is too much goodness. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!! I post everything and all updates on my Instagram if you want to follow my story!! Instagram: Bariatric_babee Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App

  32. I'm still on liquid but I'm allowed to have sugar free ice cream popsicles.. 1% milk.. Creamy Soup.. Sugar free Jello. Not on the Clear liquids. I need to get some. Nothing helped. Even took some colace. Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
  33. So TMI... I'm so bloated and constipated. I ate a sugar free mini Hershey chocolate because it has a laxative effect and I have nothing else.. I'm deseperate! I'm so uncomfortable!!! I'm passing gas. Just not going number 2.. Hopefully it gets things moving!! Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
  34. I wonder why everyone's list is so different. I have to do liquids for a month. Other people only do it for 2 weeks then go to pureed food. Sent from my LG-H918 using the BariatricPal App
