  11. Some family don't know all the facts about WLS so there first response may be negative please don't let this discourage you. You have to live for you not them in the beginning I only told a few that I believe would support me the most to my surprise one of the most negative person was the one that I thought would have my back but at the end of the day I realized its her issue not mine now 6 months out down 80+ pounds and simply loving my band. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't let people change the way you feel or talk you out of your happiness good luck

  14. Posted Today, 11:43 AM Welcome to the monthly challenge. June is here and Summer is on its way! This challenge is a fun way to keep track of your monthly weight loss while gaining and giving support to other bandsters Copy and post the template below and fill in the information that you are comfortable sharing on Saturday June 1st then come back every Saturday on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH --Sunday June 30th and post your updated weight. I will keep track of the weights to get a table listing everyone's results on the following weekend. Good luck to everyone and remember this isn't a contest it's a challenge and you are a winner no matter how much you lose. The first three items are required all others are recommended, but the last one is the most fun. If you are new to our monthly challenge please leave a short introduction. 18. Omg is your husband related to my husband I also had a hard time getting my husband to understand why I needed this WLS but I told him at the start of my process and what he wouldn't accept from me I had my surgeron and his team help him to understand the importance of losing weight now they were great help in making him come to his senses he's not 100% there but he tries to support as much as he can and its his support that helps me get through the hard times. Good luck try taking him to me your surgery before your date make it will decrease any stress or anxiety

  21. What we must remember is that everyone journey is there own some people get it right the first time through and others need more tries but in the end it's individual and what u make it how u plan to achieve your goal
  22. I do this all the time but I'm getting better when shopping I go straight to the plus size section just out of habit currently a size 10-12 down from 20-22 I guess it's just hard to adjust to at times
