Tomorrow I have my "6 month" post op appointment with the surgeon. It is actually a week and a half early but should be pretty good anyway! I found the picture of me eating out the day before the liquid fast so a few days before surgery and the other is last week! It is terrible to see how I truly was and how I didn't realize that was me when I had the extra weight!

down to 224 from 301 on surgery day

I had surgery 4/1 and I am able to eat a whole taco!!! I've done thAt one time. I ate slow and did not feel full nor any discomfort. I have never thrown up or had dumping syndrome. I don't even feel like I had surgery! I feel normal. This worries me!!! I had a stricture and I went in and had it dilate twice. Could that have messed me up? I am afraid of being able to eat too much and that I won't lose like others. I've lost 52 pounds since surgery and have been to the gym frequently. I can eat a single serve portion of popcorn also! It's a small bag but seem like I shouldn't be able to eat that this soon!!

Went to the doc today, 66 lbs, That's six more pounds since I was weighed on Thursday!
6lbs in 4 days. Awesome!

Hot mama! Instead of big mama ! That's a good point about not enjoying it and it being just fuel!!

Personally, I'd rather have a Snickers bar!

Yeah I've got a ton. I wanted to add the muffin pans I use is the mini ones and on my child plate it looks like a lot. I use those pans for a lot and a lot of different spices together. I make all my sauces bc I can control the sugars and I also sneak tofu in a lot and my lil family has no clue..they think that white block is a special cheese )) my boyfriend went from 230 down to 191lbs bc of how I cook.

Well I hit my goal weight. I am 175lbs now. Which is actually 5 lbs under my goal. I am not even a year post op and thought I would share my updated pic. First one is pre op and the other is obviously post op. thanks to all of you for all your help along the way!!!
Ohh and that's me standing outside the helicopter that I could never have been able to be a flight medic in was it not for surgery and y'all's support. Love u guys and gals!

Girl dont be upset about not losing Anything, you will! And lots! Some people's bodies are just different because of the surgery and fluids, being swollen, retaining Water, so many factors but remember we did just have rny you will lose. !
