    I'm also not a person who eats a lot just to eat I only eat when hungry currently 1200-1400 calories per day. Nutritionist had me down to 1000 but I got too hungry but can't lose any weight just consistantly at the same weight. I work out 5-6 days per week

    Looking for a mentor in Ct. I do not have date set yet but I am meeting with surgeon tomorrow. Insurance has been approved and passed psychiatric and went for nutritional counseling all ready. I am getting band at Yale but anyone in CT will do. I live in northern Ct (Simsbury) but willing to travel anywhere in state to chat. Or if there is anyone who is about to get surgery or just did and wants to be buddies that would be awesome too.

    Ive dieted 1200-1400 calories daily and work out 1-1.5 hours 6 days per week and am not losing weight. Your dr seems as ignorant as they get no offense. If this is what you want dont let him get in the way. You will have naysayers and those who are against it the whole way, dont let that get to you. I too am a "newbie" on this site and just started my process last week.
