  1. I was the same way. My surgery was my first real surgery as well. I'm 2 1/2 weeks post-op and the surgery itself was a piece of cake. My uncomfortable moments were from the gas they fill you with before they get in there. It took me almost two weeks to feel better and finally feel that it was all gone. I have my post-op appointment this week and maybe my first fill. We have a long road ahead of us but with this lap band as a tool, we can do it!
